Season Opener yesterday at the ESA Battle of Chattanooga! With a new group of girls we were excited to see how they would mesh and what these girls were made of … and boy did we! Overcoming some unusual circumstances during the day, sickness and extreme heat these girls went to battle!

Two heart breaking losses to begin the day 1-2 and 1-2. They weren’t taking any prisoners after that. Gaining momentum through the day the girls went 9-8, 6-5 and then really showed out on the Silver Bracket Championship Game 11-0! A shoot out scenario loss 0-2 may have switched the ring they received. But their stellar performance all day as a new group of 9U girls was amazing!

Hearing them cheer and laugh and lift each other up; Cheer on their pitchers when the scenarios were though. Proud is an understatement!

Can’t wait to see these girls grow this season!

Kickin’ off Fall 2026 in awesome over-the-top fashion! Two of our mamas crushed a stunning signing day party for our girls and their families. It was a beautiful (hot) day for them to laugh, be silly and hang out with each other! They work so hard … it’s nice to see then play so hard too! 💦 🥎

Back to work on Tuesday! T Minus 2 weeks til we see this GA Power team in action! 🥎 💪🏻❤️ 💙

⭐ We’re fired up to have Coach Chance Lanier back for another season and joining the Georgia Power family! ❤️🤍💙🥎

💪 Born and raised in the South, Coach Chance is an athlete through and through. A tri-sport athlete in high school, he competed in baseball, football, and rugby—with a little wrestling thrown in for good measure! His calm, positive, soft-spoken personality might fool you at first, but make no mistake—Coach Chance is bad-to-the-bone! Over the last six years, he’s coached rec and travel baseball, softball, and basketball.

😎 If there’s an adventure happening, Chance is IN—and he’s bringing the good time with him! Always smiling, laughing, encouraging, and cheering on the girls, he’s our resident “YES MAN.”
Yes, we can. Yes, we will. Yes, ma’am!
He’s everyone’s friend, and every player knows Coach Chance has her back.

🥎 This season, he’s ready to turn our outfield into a certified NO-FLY ZONE! Coach Chance will focus on developing strong outfield play, increasing speed and agility on the bases, and building overall softball IQ. His goal is simple: challenge the girls to get better while keeping them confident, positive, and hungry to learn.

⚾🐶⛳🚤 Finding Coach Chance away from a ballfield might be the real challenge. With three kids who love those red-clay diamonds, the ballpark is practically home! When he does get some downtime, he’s a Bulldogs enthusiast, golfer, and boating fanatic.

🍽️ Fueled by country-fried steak, mashed potatoes & gravy, and fried okra… this man is as country as cornbread!

⭐ Meet Coach Ashley Flaherty! ⭐

We’re excited to welcome Coach Ashley Flaherty back for another season and into the Georgia Power family! ❤️💙🥎

🥎 Softball has been part of Coach Ashley’s life from the very beginning. As a player, she competed with the Cobras, who were nationally ranked #23 in USSSA 18U, before continuing her career as a Division I athlete at Wright State. Since then, she’s built an impressive coaching résumé that includes Miami Valley Express Travel, Stars National Team, River Ridge Silver Metro Ball, and many seasons of recreational and travel softball and basketball.

💙 Coach Ashley is our eternal optimist and one of our players’ biggest believers. Whether she’s running practice, cheering from the dugout, or sitting on the pitching bucket, the girls never have to wonder if Coach Ashley believes in them—they KNOW she does! She has a gift for finding the good, building confidence, and bringing out the best in every player.

🧠 Behind the scenes, she’s always working. New drills, game strategy, ways to maximize our strengths, plans to attack our weaknesses—her softball brain rarely turns off! This season, Coach Ashley will focus on expanding our pitching arsenal through mechanics and strategy, developing smart and aggressive baserunners, and strengthening our corner-player dynamics.

🏈⚾🏖️ Away from the field, you’ll find her cheering on Ohio State football and the Braves, relaxing at the beach, or doing just about anything that involves sports!

🍓🥗🍦 Fueled by fruit, salad, and ice cream, Coach Ashley is ready for another season of developing players, building confidence, and competing!

🥎 Born and raised in Cherokee County, Coach Josh grew up as a Tri-sport athlete and knows firsthand what it takes to compete, work hard, and build a winning team. Over the past six years, he’s coached baseball, softball, and both boys’ and girls’ basketball, helping young athletes grow both on and off the field.

🔥 If you hear a sound echoing across the ballpark, it’s probably Coach Josh! Our loudest voice brings unmatched energy, enthusiasm, and passion to every practice and game. Whether celebrating a big play or encouraging his players through adversity, everyone knows when Coach Josh is around. And with his class-clown personality and giant kid-at-heart spirit, he makes sure there’s plenty of time for goofing around!

⚾ This season, Coach Josh will lead the team with a focus on defensive strategy and batting mechanics, helping every player build confidence in their softball skills. Most importantly, Coach Josh plans to work on developing good humans, making sure every athlete is prepared for the world beyond the softball field.

🐶🦌🏍️⛪ When he’s away from the ballfield, you’ll find him cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs 🖤❤️, hunting, riding four-wheelers, or spending time at church with his family.

🥎 A defensive force in the middle infield, Spencer has the stopping power to lock it down and is ready to turn some double plays! Add in a consistent bat and smart, heads-up baserunning, and she’s ready to make an impact on both sides of the ball.

💙 Spencer brings instant positivity wherever she goes! She’s friendly, upbeat, and always eager to jump right in, make new friends, and become part of the team. You can count on her to be ready with a high-five and cheering loudly for her teammates!

💙 The fun never stops when Kinsley’s around! Whether she’s making sure everyone stays cool between games, delivering her famous “Pickle Pops,” or keeping the team laughing, she’s always finding ways to bring teammates together and keep the energy high.
