Calling all IMS Soccer Players! Excellent opportunity to come work with our HS Staff and HS Athletes to continue to develop your soccer skills! Hope to see you all there!

Looking for some soccer? Coach Stephenson & Coach Turgeon are hosting some summer soccer starting July 8th. Athletes will practice WITH the varsity soccer teams, and will focus on fundamental soccer development, speed improvement, and will play many small sided games. The score doesn’t reflect how tight this game actually was. Held the number 10 team in the state scoreless for 32 minutes. Went into half down 1-0 with a real belief we could do it.

Moved the ball well in the second half but couldn’t find the final connection to put it in the back of the net. Game got to 3-0 with 3 minutes left. We pulled the seniors for one final walk off the field, and they added a cheap one late to make it 4-0.

We battled. The 6 letters on the front of their chest meant something. There was no quit. And that is all we could ask from these young men.

These posts are never easy. It’s the final chapter for 5 seniors and 2 foreign exchange students. They moved the program in the right direction and left it better than they found it. I will forever be grateful for this group of guys and their families who were so supportive over the last 3 years.

Thanks to all those that came out and cheered us on through the ups and downs this year. The expectations around this program have risen and I’m excited for the future.
