50 years of history. A new look for what comes next. 🏉

We are excited to officially reveal the new Canton Rugby Club logo!

As we celebrate our 50th year, we wanted a logo that honors where we’ve been while representing where Canton Rugby is headed. From our youth players just picking up a rugby ball for the first time to our Women’s and Men’s teams carrying the Canton name onto the pitch, this logo represents ONE CLUB.

A huge thank you to Hailey Gray for working with us to bring our vision to life and creating a logo that we are so proud to call ours. You took our ideas and turned them into something that represents the past, present, and future of Canton Rugby!

What an incredible way to celebrate 50 years of Canton Rugby!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 50th Anniversary Golf Outing and Banquet on August 15th. It was amazing to see current players, alumni, families, friends, and supporters come together to celebrate 50 years of rugby, friendships, memories, and community.

A huge congratulations to our 2026 Canton Rugby Hall of Fame Inductees — Chad Menegay, Tim Donnelly, and Gary Smith! Each of you has made a lasting impact on this club, and we are so proud to recognize everything you have given to Canton Rugby over the years.

We also want to give a huge thank you to Arrowhead Golf Club for hosting our golf outing and La Pizzaria for hosting our 50th Anniversary Banquet. And, of course, thank you to every person who volunteered, planned, donated, helped behind the scenes, or simply showed up to celebrate with us. We couldn't have done it without you!

We have the honor of recognizing three individuals whose dedication, passion, and commitment have helped shape what it means to be a Canton Maddog.

Congratulations to our 2026 Hall of Fame Inductees:

Chad Menegay
Tim Donnelly
Gary Smith

The Canton Rugby Club is more than just a team—it's a family, a tradition, and a culture. That culture didn't happen by accident. It was built by people who gave their time, their energy, and their hearts to this club, both on and off the pitch.

Chad Menegay embodied what it meant to wear the Maddog jersey. As an outstanding player and teammate, Chad led by example through his toughness, dedication, and commitment to the club.

Tim Donnelly has made an incredible impact both as a player and through his tireless work growing our youth program. His passion for rugby and commitment to developing the next generation have helped ensure a bright future for Canton Rugby.

Gary Smith has been one of Canton Rugby's biggest supporters. From cheering on every team to helping bring together our Old Boys and preserving the traditions that make this club special, Gary's enthusiasm and pride for the Maddogs have left a lasting mark on our club.

Their dedication, leadership, and love for Canton Rugby have helped define what it means to be a Maddog. We are honored to recognize the lasting impact each has made on our club.

While this honor recognizes everything they've already given to our club, we know their story with Canton Rugby isn't over. We look forward to seeing each of them continue to represent what it means to be a Canton Rugby Hall of Famer—sharing our history, celebrating our traditions, supporting our players, and helping guide our club into the future. The Hall of Fame isn't just a recognition of the past; it's a lifelong place in the Maddog family, and we can't wait to see the impact they'll continue to make.

We are incredibly proud to welcome Chad Menegay, Tim Donnelly, and Gary Smith into the 2026 Canton Rugby Hall of Fame.
