We are ready to Rumble ! Got to spend last night and this morning with John Hutchinson (Colorado High School Cycling League) to do some venue planning and course riding for our local October high school mountain bike race. The Royal Gorge Rumble will be October 9-11, 2026, at the Royal Gorge Ranch and Resort. Stay tuned for opportunities to volunteer. The kids are sure to inspire you. 😊

Way to go, Jordan! A major-shout-out to rising senior Tiger mountain biker, Jordan Bailey, as he led a trail work session for his capstone project today. After thoughtful planning and organizing, Jordan oversaw the much needed maintenance on a one mile section of the Hard Time trail. Congratulations, Jordan, and we're excited you chose to give back to our community with your capstone!

Congratulations to our six graduating Tiger mountain bikers, Dietrich, TJ, Holden, Charissa, David and Saioa. Dream big, reach for the stars, and know how proud the coaches are of each of you. We very much enjoyed having two exchange students from Spain race with us and are wishing David and Saioa safe travels back home.

Kudos to Tiger mountain bikers TJ Evagash, Heidi Numsen and Hannah Numsen for being the lead and sweep bikers today for the annual Run Blossom 5K, organized by Fremont Adventure Recreation (FAR). Proud of our kids for always giving back to the local Canon City community. They kept 400 elementary school students safe and going in the right direction to finish their race.

Congratulations to Heidi Numsen and Mason Lenard (both are Juniors and both are Varsity racers) on completing their high school Capstone Project today with their final graded presentation. They chose their project based on mentoring middle school riders, teaching a clinic with them, and sharing what it’s like racing for the high school team. I jumped at the opportunity when they asked for my help as their “subject matter expert”, and was so proud of them watching their presentation today. I can’t wait to see them reach their goals in adult life. Mason aspires to be involved in Outdoor Recreation, and Heidi hopes to be an OB-GYN doctor.

Congrats to Joshua Graber (2026 season JV racer) who took 8th place overall (includes all adults) in the 18 mile loop Royal Gorge Groove race this morning. This is a tough course, and it’s a bummer Aravaipa Rides didn’t have awards for Juniors. Coach Ryan Graber rode an impressive two lap (36 miles) race and took 1st place overall. Way to go !
