This is what Little League baseball’s all about . This is what the little league World Series is all about . Kids from all over the world , living in a type of Olympic village , becoming friends , bridging language and cultural barriers though baseball , the common language here is sportsmanship . Maybe one day our leaders will look at these kids , look at this photo and understand we are all here for a short time on this earth , and working together we can accomplish anything . The universe is always sending us messages in the most unlikeliest ways , one day we will listen .

West Side Little League is the 2025 OHIO State Baseball Champions. They advance to the Regional Tournament in Whitestown, IN Aug 1-8.

The Ohio State Major Baseball Tournament kicked off this morning in Boardman, OH.
Opening ceremonies opened the tournament with YSU president Bill Johnson and First Lady Leeann Johnson throwing out the first pitches.
