Estill’s Wigwam Drive-In Restaurant Performance of the game came from
Brandon Morris who dropped 23 points 11 boards and 7 assists and 1 block. Morris found the open man several times in big key moments when the bears were closing in and help them close out and hold on to the lead .

Other notable Performances for the Highballers were :
Dylan McQueen 19 pts 5 rebounds
Rice-Gordon: 15 pts 9 rebounds 5 assist 4 blocks

The Bears fought hard and had an incredible season and just fell short . They brought it within 4 late in the fourth but after some big plays Estill managed to increase the lead back up back to double digits. Lee county was lead by Bryce Angel who dropped 8 3s for a total of 36 points and 15 Reb. Jack Fox had 15 pts 4 Reb , and Tony Murphy had 18 pts 11 Rebs and 3 steals.

Talons advance after shooting lights out with 23 team 3s and got out to a quick 13-0 lead right out the gate .

Talons were lead by Kevin M Hayton who came to ball out and dropped 9 3s for a total of 35 pts 5 Rebs and 2 assist and 1 steal. Williams followed with 25 pts 8 Rebs and 2 stls and 1 block . Austin Troy Evans also showed up for the Talons with 25 pts 4 rebounds and 7 assists .

The Montgomery Warpath fought to the very end and never quit. Just couldn’t make up for the huge deficit built at the beginning of the game due to not getting shots to fall until the second half. Led by Jacob Smith who had 22 pts and 11 rebounds , Justin Hebert who dropped 17 pts and Roi Mayes who had 15 off 5 3 pointers.

It ended short and not the outcome they wished for but a great first season by all the Warpaths. Some remarkable moments including the first and only overtime game in CLL history with the first ever and still the only buzzer be**er win.

Talons advance to face Morgan county Prowlers tomorrow(Sunday August 9th at Estill County central Office)

Morgan County advanced due to a forfeit from Perry and not having enough players available last week.

Morgan County Prowlers took care of business against the RidgeRunners. Turnovers broke Wolfe County Down and put them in a hole they couldn’t climb out of !!

Morgan Prowlers were led by Preston Hoskins who dropped 39pts 3 rebs 3 stls 2 blocks along with 21 pts from Joshua Adkins and Wes Cross pulling down 11 rebounds and adding 2 blocks !

Great hustle from Wolfe County RidgeRunners this season unfortunately they couldn’t pull out a win and struggled all year to get a consistent team to show up.

The chase for the region 1 crown continues this Sunday In Estill County !

Breathitt Hive advances to the Region 1 semifinals . Led by Jaxon Hamilton who dropped 9 threes and 41 pts 4 assists 3 rebounds 2 steals. Austin Sewell Sperry with 33 pts 6 Rebs and 6 assists, and Trevor Hays who dropped 20 pts 7 rebounds and 2 assists.

The Hive was shooting lights out dropping 19 threes as a team, led by Jaxon Hamilton and Andrew Combs who added 5 threes of his own.

Great season for the Powell county Blacksails who put up a great fight behind Bryson Edwards 40 pts 5 Rebs and Brady Madden 29 pts and 7 Rebs unfortunately they were down a few of their original players and took the loss 124-111!
