As someone who struggled with an alcohol/heroin addiction for 20 years, 12 of those 20 years spent in the prison system…. Today, I’ve been sober for 9 years. I spend my days helping others transform their lives.
EVERYTHING this doctor is saying, I found to be true. I’ve walked it, lived it.
“The man who said he can and the man who said he cannot, are both right.” -Henry Ford. (what we say to ourselves means EVERYTHING) 
After years of working with people inside and outside of the gyms. I have come to learn most speak to themselves in a way they would not allow someone to speak to their best friend. Learning to give myself some grace, to speak to myself with some kindness. Was one of the keys to changing my life…. (shedding my old identity. The masks we all wear. we shrink ourselves so we fit in, so we’re accepted, we’re liked). Those masks all need to be burned away, cleansed. Only then, will you discover who you truly are. How powerful you truly are, the energy.
If you want any real lasting change… physically, mentally, emotionally, and/or spiritually… it all starts with “know thy self”🙏😊.

More sets, more protein, more, more… we are conditioned to believe that more is the answer… what if, WHAT IF less is more?!? the true answer is never found by adding to the plate, but only when we take away… when we LET GO! Whether you’re on a bodybuilding journey or a healing journey… know thy self🙏.

Six-time Mr. Olympia Dorian Yates didn’t just train differently — he thought differently. While others complicated their diets, he kept it simple and strategic: high protein to build and preserve muscle, essential fats to support hormones and recovery, and carbs used purely as a tool for energy and adjustment. Nothing emotional. Nothing random. Just calculated precision.
1–1.5g of protein per pound of bodyweight. Around 100g of fats because they’re necessary. Carbs adjusted depending on the goal — push them up to grow, pull them down to get lean. That’s discipline. That’s awareness. That’s understanding your body instead of guessing.
This is the mindset of a champion: control the variables, track the response, and stay consistent. Muscle isn’t built by motivation alone — it’s built by structure, patience, and ex*****on. The Shadow didn’t rely on hype. He relied on systems.
Train hard. Eat with purpose. Adjust intelligently. Repeat.

When it’s dark, be light💡. When life shakes you whatever you’re carrying inside will spill out. If you’re carrying anger, resentment, rage…. That’s what will surface.
If you’re carrying compassion, humility, love, etc. that’s what will surface😊. Usain Bolt is a shining example. True greatness, personal destiny is unattainable when living from a place of “lack” (ego).
