In the season of Believing...

It blows my mind how far you can come when you BELIEVE in yourself.

I knew nothing about health and fitness when I first started. I was a new mom to boy/girl twins and had a two year old. I was so uncomfortable in my own skin. I wanted my clothes to fit again. I wanted
to be healthy for my kids and keep up with them. I was exhausted and wanted so badly to find an outlet.

When I first started I used 3, 5's and then 8lb weights and could only do 2 push ups. I worked out in my small office during nap time and could barely get through a 30 min workout.

Today, I used 10lb, 15lbs, and 20lb weights and workout in my basement. This journey has changed
my life both mentally and physically. It wasn't easy and I struggled but I BELIEVED that I could do it
and so can you!!

This is so much more than 6 pack abs, nice arms and toning …this is really is about your health!

The days I workout are the days I feel my best, both mentally physically and mentally!

The more I fuel my body with healthy clean food, the more I have a clear mind!

It all matters!

So I show up, even on a Saturday night and do this 30 min workout because it has a ripple affect on my my body, my mindset my and over all health!!

The best thing I ever did after becoming a mom was take care of me. ⁣

I love all things FALL!! With the kids going back to school it felt like a fresh start like a JANUARY 1st.

After maintaining, winging it and doing random workouts this summer. I decided it was time to get back on track. I decided to do a 3 week fitness program and follow my simple nutrition program to ⁣get back on track.

I have been doing these workouts for almost 5 years now. When I commit to a program, go all in and do the dam thing, I feel better, have more energy and am more confident. ⁣

After having kids, I was taking care of 3 kids under 3, laundry, meals and doing all things but nothing for me!

I was drained, postpartum is one of the hardest things both mentally and physically. I did not feel like myself, had 30lbs pounds of baby weight to lose. I knew that I needed to lose the weight to feel better.

It wasn’t about me anymore, I wanted to get healthy for them, and happy about myself. ⁣

After our last vacation this summer, I pressed play and committed to 3 weeks! 3 weeks of working out 7 days a week, drinking a superfood shake and eating clean, portion control meals.

I know taking care of me isn’t selfish, it’s necessary. My fist 21 day program showed me that these programs not only produce results, that they are simple to follow and convenient.

I keep going, doing the newest program, and pushing play everyday because I love how they make me feel. These programs are much more than just workouts and shakes ( which are amazing, btw!) There is also the community, friendships and they make me a happy mom. ⁣

Day 1 vs day 15, I ate lasagna, cake and ice cream last night!⁣

I have tried cutting out carbs. I have tried all the fad diets. I have gone to the gym, and I was a runner. But non of these were sustainable for my lifestyle. ⁣

I am a and a kids under 7. I don’t have the time to go for a run or go to the gym. I don’t have time to think about what I can and can’t eat. I don’t have time to make two separate dinners. ⁣

I need someting flexiable. I need something I can do on my time. I need something I can do from home, while the kids sleep or play. I need something I can do while traveling. I need a stress relief and something that is going to help me feel menatally strong on my mom hard days. ⁣

She’s been showing up every dam day in my virtual fit group so I have been watching her get stronger and stronger everyday, both menatlly and physically!! ⁣

I have seen her show up during the covid stress, the stress of being a single mom, I have watched her push through fear, anxiety, adjust to home school and I have seen her push through and show up on her hard days!! ⁣

These last couple months have been a huge adjust for everyone. Emily adjusted to the NEW normal! She not only transformed her body she transformed her mind!! When you transform your mind first, the physical results will follow and they stay for life. ⁣

As I look back on 2020 with gratitude and appreciation for all that I have learned. I know what's to come. I know that 2021 is going to require an entirely different mindset, level of discipline and action than ever before. It’s going to be a lot different working from home, my full time job in pharmaceutical sales, home schooling, running my coaching business and doing the daily never ending laundry and dishes. ⁣

I have some really BIG goals that I have dreamt about, written down, and made a strategic plan. Did you know goals are just dreams unless you write them down. My big goals are going to require me to stay in my lane, keep my eyes on the prize and focus on my plan. I believe my plan is the best choices for me and long term vision. ⁣

My goals are not easy, will take some serious discipline, systems and for me to keep my blinders on to what others are doing. There will be no comparing or scrolling because that won’t get me to my goal. ⁣

My goals bring me Joy, excitement and energy about what this year means for my life.⁣

Action looks like to me-⁣

1. My Morning routine starts my day up with the right mindset - visualize, affirmations, read personal development, gratitude and workout.⁣
2. I will use time blocking to schedule my day and stay focused⁣
3. I will work form a to do list with top 3 priorities ⁣
4. I will lean into people with the same goals and have the same visions ⁣
5. I will lead by example and help my team reach their big goals too⁣

2021 is going to be the year that I make moves on being the best version of me. Don't let another year go by that you’ll regret. ⁣
