Congratulations to our Camden Graduate, Grace Boyce, on qualifying to compete at the NAIA National Championships for three individual events. This accomplishment reflects your dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence. We are proud of your achievement and look forward to watching you compete on the national stage. 🏊🏼‍♀️

Congratulations to the Boys & Girls Swim team on their performance at the 4A State Championship this past weekend.

On Friday the boys placed 23rd overall. The medley relay placed 18th which consisted of Nicholas Lounsbery, Angelo Millington, James Boyce, & Jordan Porter.
Nicholas Lounsbery placed 21st in the 200 free & 24th in the 100 free, Angelo Millington placed 28th in the 50 free, and the boys 200 free relay placed 11th with a new school record of 1:45.77; a three and a half second drop from regionals.

On Saturday the girls placed 23rd overall as well.
Maci Kimpton placed 28th in the 50 free and 16th in the 100 free. The girls relay placed 16th consisting of Maci Kimpton, Eavan Johnson, Laine Redfearn, & Isabella Najar in the 200 free relay with a new best time.

What a fantastic season from the girls! The team finished 23rd overall at state, showing amazing determination. Maci had a standout performance, placing 28th in the 50 free and 16th in the 100 free. To cap it all off, the girls’ 200 free relay posted a new season best time and landed in 16th place! Go Dogs!

The championship will take place at the USC Natatorium @ 10am.

What an amazing performance by the boys' swim team! We're celebrating a fantastic overall 23rd-place finish and some huge accomplishments in the pool.

* Overall Finish: Placed 23rd in the state!
* Medley Relay: 18th place finish.
* Nicholas: 21st in the 200 free and 24th in the 100 free.
* Angelo: 28th in the 50 free.

Tonight we celebrate our amazing seniors who have poured their heart and soul into the swim team for many years! Your dedication, hard work, and team spirit have inspired us all.

Thank you for the hard practices, the fierce races, and the unforgettable memories. We’re so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see where your next journey takes you.

🌟 Senior Spotlight: Gina Millington 🌟

For the past 5 years, Gina has been a dedicated member of our swim team. One of their favorite memories is the fun dance the team used to do before meets - always followed by ice cream and cake! 🌊🍰

Beyond the pool, Gina has been actively involved with student council, Beta Club, Track and Field, DaSaussure Tri-Hi-Y, showing true leadership and spirit across the board. 📚🏃🏽‍♀️

Looking ahead, Gina plans to major in pre-med with the goal of becoming a doctor. 👩🏽‍⚕️🩺

💡Advice for younger swimmers: Leave it all in the pool! No matter what you’re doing, always try your best and give it your all!💪🏼

She would also like to take a moment to thank God for the support and guidance throughout her journey. ❤️

We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished, Gina! Keep shining bright as you take the next steps towards your dreams ☀️🏊🏼‍♀️

🌟 Senior Spotlight: Laine Redfearn 🌟

With 6 years of swimming under their belt, Laine cherishes memories like playing sharks and minnows after those long, tough practices - fun moments that made all the hard work worth it! 🦈🐠💦

Beyond the pool, they’ve been an active force in Student Council, Drama Club, National Honors Society, Beta Club, and AmeriCorps Ready Readers. 🎭📚

Next up: diving into Mechanical Engineering studies after high school, ready to build and innovate! ⚙️🚀

💡Advice for younger swimmers: “Keep on kicking.” Powerful and simple.

A special thank you goes to their friend who got them started by dragging them to swim tryouts back in seventh grade. Sometimes all it takes is that one push! 🙌🏼

We are so proud of everything Laine has accomplished - here’s to a future full of success and new adventures! ☀️🔥

With 6 years on the high school team and swimming since age 6, Maci has countless favorite memories in the pool - too many just to pick one! 🏊🏼‍♀️💕

Beyond swimming, they shine on both the varsity competition and sideline cheer teams, and are actively involved in Beta Club, National Honors Society, and DaSaussure Tri-Hi-Y. 🎉📚

Next up: attending the College of Charleston to major in Commercial Real Estate 🏢🎓

💡Advice for younger swimmers: “Surround yourself with good friends because that’ll make your time on the team way more meaningful… and swim fast!” 🏅

After 14 incredible years of swimming, Eavan reflects on a journey filled with memories that are all favorites — even the tough days when they pushed through pain and tears. What truly stands out? Every meet where their cheering team was there to lift them up! 🏊‍♂️💙

Beyond the pool, Eavan has been a dedicated athlete and performer: 🤼‍♂️ 4 years Wrestling�⚽ 12 years Soccer�🎶 5 years Band

Next up? Pursuing a passion for animal wildlife and rehabilitation after high school. 🐾📚

💡 Advice for younger swimmers: "Find a passion, try new things, and most importantly don’t fall in and don’t drown." Wise words to live by!

A heartfelt thank you to all the coaches who guided them, teammates who cheered them on, family members who drove them to every practice, inspired them to reach higher, and encouraged them to keep going even when it felt tough.❤️
