​From December 1–5, 2026, the MdP family will gather in Boston to celebrate a monumental milestone: the Formatura of Mestre Chuvisco ( Guthemberg Teixeira )

To achieve this rank under the strict supervision and guidance of Grão-Mestre Chuvisco is incredibly profound. Anyone who has ever stepped into a roda with him knows he is brilliantly sharp and a deceptively tricky player, a true master of the game who keeps everyone on their toes. Also being truly one of the greatest singers in the Capoeira world. When he takes the lead, his voice has the power to make the entire roda shake with energy—effortlessly pulling the maximum energy out of everyone in the roda to elevate the axé to another level.
