Join us in congratulating CJ our newest coach successfully completing our intern training program. If you want a high level coaching experience CJ is your man. His dedication to helping others reach their fitness goals is not something he does it’s something his is.

1. Why did you decide to be a F45 coach?

I have been coaching and competed on many different fitness disciplines over the years such as (Strongman, Powerlifting, Spartan Race and Crossfit to name a few) all of which, I saw the benefit of cross training utilizing functional fitness modalities. After experiencing the group classes offered at a very supportive community here in Camarillo, I immediately felt my purpose of being here was greater than my own personal need. That purpose was to continue impacting more lives by mentoring and leading a high-energy & very structured F45 workout programming.

2. What is your advice to someone beginning their fitness journey?

Fitness is a Marathon, keep going once you hit a wall. However, listening to your body will dictate your self challenge results after the run.

3. What are your favorite hobbies outside the studio?

I am a wanderer :-)

Get to Know Intern Coach Michelle! ⭐️

We’re excited to welcome our intern coach, Michelle, to the team! With her passion for mentoring and commitment to growth, she’s here to guide our interns and help them thrive.

Get to know her with some of these questions..

Q1: If you could give one piece of advice to someone just starting their fitness journey, what would you tell them?

A1: Advice … be consistent! & Never miss a Monday it’s a good start to your week!

Q2: What brought you into the fitness industry and how did you get started?

A2: I’ve been participating in the fitness industry for over 17 years when I became pregnant with my daughter. I taught stroller strides when she was a toddler. I recently overcame some health stuff lost (and kept off for over a year) over 40 lbs and was felt it was my calling to help inspire and teach others to do the same !

Q3: When you’re not at the studio, what do you enjoy doing in your free time?

A3: When I’m not in the studio you can find me on the pickleball courts, hanging @ the beach or baking sourdough bread, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with my family (husband & daughter ) & friends

We are excited to announce that we are now an official HYROX TRAINING CLUB

HYROX is the global fitness race for every body. The race starts with a 1 km run, followed by 1 functional movement, which repeats 8 times, taking place in large indoor venues creating a unique stadium like atmosphere for all participants. The next HYROX events will be in Anaheim December 7th (sold out) and Las Vegas Feb 1, 2025 (now forming team F45).

We will be adding specific HYROX training sessions starting Aug 31st in Camarillo, Ventura and Thousand Oaks, then as follows at Camarillo studio only: Sept 7, 14, Oct 5, 19, 26, Nov 2, 9, 16, 23.
