Week 31 - April 10, 2026 (Finals, week 1 of 2)
On the team side, BNC Electric delivered the single biggest punch with a huge 1239 game, powered by a massive closing stretch (286-259-289). Petersen Sanitary, however, owned the overall night, rolling a dominant 3423 series behind Kenny Garvey’s 746. Scoring depth across the league was solid, with multiple teams breaking 1100 and several topping 3100+ series, though a handful of teams struggled to crack 1000. The league-wide average came in at a strong 216.72. In the finals race, Petersen Sanitary has taken early control, leading Slop’s 20–10 after week one, while BNC Electric holds a 19–11 edge over Poor House Tap in the third-place match.
Individually, Spencer Werthmann stole the spotlight with a blistering 791 series (265-289-237), the highest of the night. Shane Schaefer delivered perfection with a 300 game in game one, highlighting a night that featured 14 games over 250, including six over 275. Nine bowlers hit the 700 mark, while scores under 600 were relatively limited. There were still 34 games under 200, showing some inconsistency across the field.
Match play had its share of drama. The toughest-luck loss came when Chris Graves fell despite a 239, losing to Kenny Garvey’s 254. On the flip side, Kyle Hovey managed to win with just a 167 in a low-scoring battle. Two matches ended in ties, adding to the competitive feel of the night.
Side pots and events were just as active. Werthmann captured the $5 pot (his third win), with Garvey and Graves close behind. The $2 pot saw Schaefer’s 300, Werthmann’s 289 and series, and Charly Bigwood’s 256 all take wins. In doubles, Bigwood and Quinn Enright broke through for their first victory after multiple cuts, while the Garvey duo took second. The eliminator featured tight scoring throughout, with Kenny Garvey emerging on top for the second time.
The clean pot proved especially challenging—only four bowlers remained clean after two games, and Blake Dornbush stood alone with a perfect “30 clean,” earning his second such achievement and ending a stretch without a solo winner.
The league payout at season's end will be based on points with the four teams in the playoffs receiving bonus money. For example, if there were 3000 total points won combined and the prize fund was $7,000 each point would be worth $2.33.
