🥎 PGF Top 50 Showdown Recap 🥎

Unfortunately, the tournament was cancelled Sunday due to weather, but the girls finished 2-2-1 on the weekend. Game recaps below!

🥎Game 1: Chaos 14U vs. Indiana Outkast 13U Arnold (Tied 8-8)🥎

The girls battled back from an early deficit and exploded for 8 runs on 10 hits to earn an 8-8 tie.

Offensive Highlights:
Trinity Tacey had a huge game, going 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored and 5 RBIs, including a home run.
Linnea Farran collected 3 hits, scored 1 run, and drove in 1.
Ella Britt scored a run and added an RBI.

Pitching:
Trinity Tacey started in the circle, allowing 7 hits and 7 runs while striking out 4.
Ashtyn Denton came on in relief and held OutKast to 1 run over 2⅓ innings.

🥎Game 2: Chaos 14U vs. Landsharks Gold 13U (Win 10-7)🥎

The girls earned an exciting comeback victory, scoring 10 runs on 8 hits.

Offensive Highlights:
Linnea Farran had a big day with 2 hits and 3 RBIs.
Evelyn Starkey went 2-for-3 with 1 RBI and 3 runs scored.
Jordyn Sixbury added a hit, RBI, and run scored.
Maddie Milligan drove in a run.

Pitching:
Ashtyn Denton picked up the win in relief, allowing just 1 earned run over 3⅓ innings while striking out 3.

🥎Game 3: Chaos 14U vs. GenuWin Reign Carpenter 13U (Loss 6-5)🥎

The girls came up just short in a tightly contested game.

Offensive Highlights:
Jordyn Sixbury went 2-for-3, scored twice, and hit a home run.
Maddie Milligan recorded a hit and RBI.
Elle Czapek doubled and scored a run.

Pitching:
Jordyn Sixbury threw 3⅓ innings and struck out 3.
Ashtyn Denton worked 1⅔ scoreless innings in relief.

🥎Game 4: Chaos 14U vs. Silver Hawks 14U Perez (Loss 12-2)🥎

Offensive Highlights:
Evelyn Starkey accounted for both Chaos hits, going 2-for-2.
Ashtyn Denton added 2 RBIs.

Pitching:
Elle Czapek started and battled through 3 innings.
Ashtyn Denton worked 2 innings in relief and struck out 3.

🥎Game 5: Chaos 14U vs. TN Mojo 2030/31 Frye 13U (Win 20-10)🥎

The girls capped the weekend with an offensive explosion, scoring 20 runs on 21 hits.

Offensive Highlights:
Ashtyn Denton had a monster performance, going 5-for-5 with 5 runs scored and 3 RBIs.
Maddie Milligan was equally impressive, finishing 3-for-5 with 3 runs, 4 RBIs, and a grand slam.
Trinity Tacey delivered 4 RBIs, including a home run.
Linnea Farran went 3-for-5 with 6 RBIs.
Evelyn Starkey collected 3 hits and scored twice.
Elle Czapek added 2 hits and an RBI.
Jordyn Sixbury scored and drove in a run.

Pitching:
Trinity Tacey threw a complete game, striking out 6 over 7 innings to earn the win.

One of the coolest things about this program is the bonding the bigs and littles get to do in winter workouts.

As the school season rolls on, we're looking forward to being back together in less than a month to kick off our summer season!

We also want to recognize two very important members of our team who have been sidelined with injuries this season: Jolyn and Soph. Even though they haven’t been able to be on the field, they are still a huge part of this team, and we can’t wait to see them back healthy and doing what they love. Your teammates are cheering for you every step of the way!
