Another solid weekend for the River Rats. 🩵🐀

Proud of how our teams competed and continued to improve.

🏆 13U Morris – Champions
🏆 17U Brown – Champions
🥈 17U Bernal/Chapman – Runner-Up
📈 13U Yoachim/Bernal – Picked up a win and played a couple of tough, competitive games. Lots of growth this weekend.

💪 15U Korinek – Finished 2-2 and continued to make strides.

Thanks to our players, coaches, and families for everything you do.

We’re still waiting to hear back from Omaha about next weekend. As soon as we know, we’ll let everyone know.

UPDATE: We just heard from MAYB today letting us know that they are cancelling our tournament next weekend in Kearney. We will be looking into alternative options in the next 24-28 hours. We will communicate out any potential solutions.

River Rats Families,

Due to low numbers, our 17U’s and 15U’s not have practice tonight.

Our 13U Morris and 13U Bernal/Yoachim teams will still practice from 4:30–5:45 PM. Any players who would like to stop in and get some extra shots up are welcome to come in and use the gym in an open-gym setting.

Enjoy the weekend, spend some time with family, and keep a basketball in your hands when you can. We will send out a poll soon regarding practice availability for next week.

🏀 River Rats Basketball Update 🏀

With no tournaments on the schedule this weekend, we will be taking a little break from our normal routine.

❌ No practice Monday
❌ No practice Wednesday

We will get back together for practice on Friday at 4:30 PM to continue developing our skills and preparing for the rest of the summer.

Enjoy the extra time with family, friends, and other activities this week. We appreciate everyone’s commitment and can’t wait to get back in the gym on Friday!

🏀🐀 River Rats Weekend Recap 🐀🏀

Another good weekend for the River Rats!

🏆 Korinek’s team went 4-0 and brought home the tournament championship.

🥈 Brown/Chapman’s team finished 3-1 and earned a runner-up finish after a great weekend of basketball.

💪 Bernal/Yoachim’s team made huge strides and competed hard all weekend long.

❤️ Morris’ team continues to improve and was on the wrong side of a couple of heartbreakers, but showed a lot of growth and toughness. Handling pressure better and better and executing late game situations.

We’ve got a little time before our next tournament. Enjoy summer, keep working, and keep getting better. Proud of the way our girls continue to compete, represent the program, and have fun doing it.

We didn’t get pictures of everyone this weekend, but we’ll do a better job of capturing all the action next time!

Our River Rats teams combined to play 20 games this weekend in Lincoln. There were plenty of positives, valuable learning opportunities, and a lot of great effort displayed across all five teams. Every weekend is another chance to grow, compete, and continue building!

A special shoutout to our 17U squad for going 4-0 and bringing home the championship! 🏆

Proud of all of our players, coaches, and families. We’re excited to get back to work and carry this momentum into next weekend!
