Weekend recap.
Menomonie Friday. Had a hard time getting the car to work right for him in the heat race. Went out for the feature and did a lot of learning. While he finished last on the field he ended up 10th with all the wrecks taking out other cars.
Rice lake Saturday. Finished 4th in the heat started 12th in the feature. He was running in that spot until he spun, he made a good move on the restart getting himself further up in the field when another caution came out. The last few laps he was just a little flustered I think trying to get a line to work and ended up spinning again on the last lap to avoid hitting someone else. . Have a little bit of damage to fix. But we will be back at it next weekend.

Weekend results. Friday night Menomonie. Started heat P2 to P5. Feature 14th to 18th. Starting to trust the car more and just lacked the right gearing. Still a great race!

Saturday at Rice Lake
Bought a set of gears from fellow competitor Brady Larson...
P3 to p2 for his heat leading 6 of the 8 laps. He said he was in his own head towards the end and was trying too hard to hit the perfect marks.
Feature... redrew 3rd and was running 8th most of the race when the last caution came out got stuck on the inside and finished 11th. There was a huge driving difference from the last time we were at Rice Lake.

Cant wait to be back at at next weekend.

Back to reality after a relaxing weekend away. We spent the weekend at Cornell Lake. Good friends, music and new memories. We now get ready for races this weekend. Friday night in Menomonie and Saturday in Rice Lake.

Long post... the boys were able to get the car put together after a long week thanks to the help from Justin Groth, Bud Richards, Cole Richards, Danny Richards, Kayla Larson. We were able to take it out Friday night in Menomonie and Saturday in Rice Lake. It doesn't have stickers on it yet. But hopefully next weekend!!
Friday night he went out and our goal was to just learn the track and figure out the car. He was running well in the feature, avoided a few wrecks and lost a wheel with 3 to go which ended his night. But it was fixable.
Saturday we traveled to Rice Lake and had the same expectation learn the track and the car. It was a little but more of a struggle and he wasnt running the best laps. But we came home with the car in one piece and some things learned.
Thanks to Aimee Lightle for most of the pictures and videos from Friday as I didnt get many myself.
We couldnt do without the all the support from our partners
