After a HARD FOUGHT 3-set thriller loss, GPVBC-17 finished 5th in Gold at Regionals this weekend!

We are so proud of the grit and determination these girls displayed over the course of a very challenging season. Each and everyone of you are amazing young ladies, and we can’t wait to cheer you on in the next season of life!

DAY ONE RESULTS!!

Started the morning off hot with 2 big wins over NEO & UPVBC. Then dropping the cross over match to a tough Charge team: 28-26 & 25-23!

For only 9 players and one of our DS/lib’s playing front row, i’d say it was a good day!

We’re back in action tomorrow @ 9am on court 47!

the girls completed their LAST practice of the season yesterday and it was bittersweet!

we shared some cupcakes and cookies, put some finishing touches on our game and prepared to take on regionals this weekend!

we as coaches are so proud of the grit and grind they’ve put in this season, and how much they showed perseverance even if everything didn’t go our way. we are proud to coach these girls and we’re excited to watch them leave it out on the court this weekend!

Weekend recap!
Day one the girls battled in their pool play games, dropping a few sets by just 2 points.
They rallied back and won a 3 set THRILLER to avoid bronze and send us into the silver bracket for day two!
Day two they came out with FIRE and won their first game to play for a chance to be silver bracket champions- I’m happy to report we went 2-0 and ARE SILVER BRACKET CHAMPIONS!

The girls have battled so much adversity and we are PROUD of their tenacity and resilience this weekend! We’re back on the court next weekend (Apr. 4th) @ Score! 🤍🥳🏐🥰
