Friday September 4th, 2026, Friday, September 4th, at The Big Green Soccer Complex

🔥 FIELD RUN FESTIVAL — STRONG START! 🔥

Our Cache Cross Country Varsity Boys 🏃🏽‍♂️, Varsity Girls🏃🏻‍♀️, and JV Boys 🏃🏻‍♂️competed at the Field Run Festival at Deer Creek High School in Edmond—the premier Oklahoma showcase to open the season.

Our strategy was simple: GO OUT STRONG. COMPETE. BUILD MOMENTUM.

Today was about gaining confidence, competing against top competition, and setting the tone for the season. Now we go back, conduct our After Action Review, identify what we need to improve, and turn it into a clear action plan for this week’s practices.

The season is just getting started. The work continues.

Parents, this is a message from our Athletic Director, Lisa O’kelley.

Parents, it is a requirement by our Oklahoma secondary schools association that all athletes have specific forms filled out and filed at their school before participating in athletics at all. And when I mean at all, I mean before they can even work out. Today, we have a vast number of athletes who have not gotten those forms filled out. Parents, please go to rank one and complete all of those forms. Once you complete all of those forms, to include having a physical on file, your child becomes eligible to participate. The indicator will be that they are in the green, and not the red. It is urgent that we have all parents fill those forms out for us to be in compliance with Oklahoma secondary school schools Association. Thank you for your help on this.

Heat Advisory — Meet Cancellation for Middle School, 20 Aug 2026

Parents, Faculty, and Middle School Student Athletes,

Due to the excessive heat and the 4:30 PM start time for the Middle School Deer Creek Cross-Country Meet in Edmond, temperatures will still be in the triple digits at race time.

As coaches, our first obligation is the safety and welfare of our student-athletes. After careful consideration, I have made the decision to cancel our participation in the Deer Creek Meet on August 20.

This was not an easy decision, but the health and safety of our athletes will always come first.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Cache Cross Country.

X-COUNTRY 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️SUMMER SHOWCASE ASSESSMENT

This morning, our Cache Bulldogs Cross Country teams competed in the Summer Showcase in Norman—and we got our first real assessment of where we are and where we need to go.

Our JV Girls finished a respectable 9th place, but the bigger victory is what that team represents. For the first time in several years, we have a full girls team, and our outstanding freshman class stepped up and competed at the varsity level. The future is bright!

Our Varsity Boys finished 2nd overall, narrowly edged out by a Class 6A team. And leading the way was our senior, Ethan Jones, who was the overall individual winner! 🏆

But today wasn’t about trophies. Today was about assessment.

We now know where we stand. We know what we need to improve. And we know where we’re going.

The goal is clear: WIN REGIONALS, then prepare for STATE.

This is only the beginning. We will continue to build, improve, and get better every single day.

This Saturday, August 15, the Cache Bulldogs Cross Country teams head to Norman, Oklahoma, for the Summer Showcase!

We’re taking EVERY member of our high school men’s and women’s teams. We’ll depart at 5:00 AM from the Old Gym.

We are excited to welcome Coach Kelvin Ingram as our new Associate Head Coach for Cache Bulldogs Cross Country! 🇺🇸🏃‍♂️

Coach Ingram brings nearly 30 years of U.S. Army leadership experience, along with a passion for endurance sports, youth development, and building strong teams.

He is high-energy, team-focused, and understands that leadership matters both on and off the cross-country course. He believes in developing student-athletes through discipline, perseverance, resilience, humility, and teamwork.

We are excited to welcome Memphis Fillmore to the Cache Cross-Country family as our High School Team Manager!

Memphis is a freshman who is already making her mark at Cache. She is involved in the football stage crew, FCA, girls golf, and Honor Choir—and now she’s joining us to help build something special in Bulldog Cross Country!

Memphis has a passion for helping athletes and plans to pursue Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy after graduation. That passion, energy, and willingness to serve others will make her a tremendous addition to our program.

This isn’t just a ribbon-cutting ceremony… it’s the beginning of a new era for Cache Bulldog Athletics!

We invite every Cross Country family to join us as we celebrate the opening of our brand-new Bulldog Field House.

I’ll be honored to serve as your tour guide and show you the future home of Bulldog champions. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet our new Associate Head Coach for Cross Country, Coach Kelvin Ingram (Ret. U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major)—a proven leader who shares our vision of developing champions on the course and in the classroom, and in life.

Championship programs aren’t built by coaches alone. They’re built by student-athletes, teachers, parents, and a community that believes in something bigger than themselves.

This is our time. This is our team. This is our tradition in the making.

Let’s pack the house, celebrate this incredible milestone, and show everyone what Bulldog Pride is all about!
