Well we tried to give it a go tonight. Now that we got the gremlins worked out of the motor, Hunter Hite pulled a good pill, the track looked great, and it started pouring down rain as we sat in the chute for hot laps. After it rained we watched them pack the track in for 45 minutes just to get it almost ready and then call the show! Just when you think the stars are aligning you get the rug pulled out from under you. Been a tough year, but we will be back next weekend.

We got a heavy downpour and we have CANCELED tonight’s action! Keep your wristbands and tickets for rain checks! We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to see you all back next Friday for Fab4 Racing Revved by Marburger FARM Dairy!🏁

After battling through issues getting the motor to run appropriately at our last race, we took the car to race with the Peoples Gas 410 Sprints at Lernerville Speedway nerville Speedway tonight! The only goal was to figure out our issue and be ready for the next Allegheny Sprint Tour race. We went out for motor heat and the car wouldn't stay running. Went through all the wiring and found a few things that may have been the problem with no luck. Had some other racers and crews jump in and help us diagnose our issue, finally narrowed it down to a mag and/or coil issue (of course we didn't have a spare at the track). Left the track to grab the spare coil and got it in the car before the feature. After multiple attempts to fire the car we got it running, although it still wasn't idling well. After missing engine heat, hot laps, qualifying, and our heat race we started the feature at the tail and Hunter drove it up to 9th. Car ran well in the feature and we passed cars with actual 410 motors, and about 200-300 more horsepower than us. Need to work on the motors idle to get it dialed in, but after fighting hard all night it feels like we are on the upswing of getting this motor running how we know it can!

This team may not always get it right the first time, but we learn and won't quit. We could have thrown in the towel after the 5th, 6th, 7th attempt to get the car running right, but we kept our head down and kept working. We can't thank our competitors enough for all their help in diagnosing our issue and helping us troubleshoot.

Hunter and the 21 car planed to make their 2025 debut tonight at Lernerville Speedway, but mother nature once again had other plans! We will shake down the 21 car on Thursday, weather permitting, at Michaels Mercer Raceway for practice night.

We always say to support those that support racing. We love racing and couldn't do it without companies (and people) that also love racing sponsoring cars, tracks, series, etc. Krill Recycling, LLC is always out there supporting grass roots dirt racing. They don't sponsor our race cars, but we don't care. We want to support them because they support racing! We were cleaning up a dump truck full of the metal "debris" we created this season and of course we took it to Krill (just like you should).

WEEKEND RECAP!

Hunter and Justin set out this weekend for a double header in New York at Freedom Motorsports Park! After the 3.5 hour drive we pulled into the pits and realized we had ANOTHER flat trailer tire! 11 top notch 305 cars signed in, being one of the smallest fields we raced against all year, but literally anyone was capable of winning the show. Hunters first laps on the track we ended up qualifying 11th out of 11, almost 6 tenths off the fast time. We started the heat race in 6th and ended up coming home 5th. The track ran an incredibly efficient program which left very little time to get the car prepared between hot laps, qualifying and the heat race. We rolled out for the feature starting 9th and all 20 laps ran without a caution and we ended up finishing 9th. We didn't love the results, but on the same token we were just as fast as some of the top cars we have ran against all year.

After the race we took advantage of the cool evening air and worked on servicing the car until 2 am before enjoying some smores with our fellow racers. Thanks to Jacob Gomola for giving our wheelman a bed to sleep on, while Justin enjoyed sleeping on the floor of the trailer with the race car!

Saturday we woke up early and prepped tires. Noticed our front wing was about to bust off AGAIN, so we took it off and did a quick patch job, thanks to "Jim Bob" Pattock for the rivets! We also fixed our flat trailer tire thanks to Jarrett Rosencrance for the plug kit. We were ready to get back after it!

Once again the track ran an extremely quick program. We qualified 9th. Went 5th to 5th in our heat race after Hunter rocketed through a hole in turn 1 on the first or second lap and had all 4 tires off the ground! Thankfully, the shiny side stayed skyward. We went 9th to 10th in the feature after running the car into the corner hard lap after lap, at about the halfway point of the race Hunter saw sparks in the cockpit (off the rear brake rotor) and felt immense heat up his back (from the glowing red brake rotor) and thought he may have had a brake fire so he pulled in and we called it a weekend. We were able to hit the road by 9 PM and got the rig back to the shop by 1:30 AM, which was great!

This weekend put an end to the Allegheny Sprint Tour points season. We aren't quite sure what the rest of the year will hold, so stay tuned for some updates.
