Byron Eagles 7th & 8th Grade Football Our page is to provide information about the JV and 7&8 grade football teams. We will provide schedules, scores, rosters, positions and some stats.

Our intent is to focus on the players and what they will bring to our future Varsity football team.

I am sure that most of you here know that there is after school weight lifting. It is open at 2:30 and stays open for a couple hours. Great way to stay conditioned if you aren't involved in winter sports

Alright everyone the end of the season is upon us. Our 7&8th grade rapped the season up last week and JV last night and the varsity tonight.

Our 7&8th grade had a rough end to its season but it was a great game on the field and I think those kids all learned something about themselves that evening.
I'm hoping next year brings all these boys and more back to us.

So as far as the page goes I will continue to post updates for our future team and maybe even some off-season training. So don't let this page get buried and forget about us. Also recommend us to others. Hopefully next year I'll have it a bit more informational.

Alright folks this was a tough one. First things first. Big thanks to the fans out there that show up and cheer this team on. I want everyone to know these boys try and try hard for that “W”. They’ve battled through injuries, illnesses and whatever else has come their way. I put this message out to remind everyone, for as much as they want to win and we want to see it, they are preparing themselves for the next step, High school. I believe in this group of young men and that the win will come. When this season ends boys I believe you will take more than just a win from this season. I believe you will know what it takes to be part of a team. I believe that the sweat, pains, tears and even the laughs you’ve shared with your teammates will create a bond that you’ll take with you through your high school years. For the boys that left the field injured, please know that your teammates concerns for you are real and your injuries have effects on them all. You can get a good gauge of the closeness of a team when one is injured. It can fire up a team or bring it down. So I challenge these boys to use your emotions in a positive role. Use it to motivate yourself at both practice and games. Always play aggressive and never quit.

Thank you to all of you and your continued efforts.
Continue to believe in yourself.

This next game is sure to be a great one. Byron Eagles 7/8th grade takes on Portland September 23 at 6:00pm at Home!! This could be the one that turns the season around for our young Eagles. With some of our injured returning and back to basic hard nosed coaching, plus home field and fan support I am sure we can make it happen.
