Congratulations to Byron’s own Kyan Roberts!

Kyan represented Team Michigan Blue on the national stage, finishing with an outstanding 9-3 individual record while helping Team Michigan Blue earn a 9-3 team record. He comes home with incredible accomplishments, valuable experience, and tremendous growth.

Congratulations to Team Michigan blue as well as a huge thank you to the Team Michigan Blue coaches for believing in, pushing, and investing in these athletes all week. As one coach said, “Kyan’s engine runs hard.” That grit, heart, and determination were on full display throughout the tournament.

Day 2 is in the books, and what a day it was!

Kyan finished the day with 4 pins, bringing his overall record to 8-1 at the Disney Duals after day 2. His biggest moment today came after being down 17-5. Most would have counted him out, but not Kyan. He battled back, scored a takedown, and with just 19 seconds left, secured the pin! That’s the heart of a wrestler who never quits.

Round 6: TMB 72, MONTANA GOLD 3 / Kyan- Fall 4:32
Round 7: TMB 75, IN. Smackdown 5 / Kyan- Fall 5:41
Round 8: TMB 61, CAMDON SOCIALS 6 / Kyan- Fall 1:19
Round 9: TMB 56, SOUTHEAST OHIO 15 / Kyan- Fall 0:46

Team Michigan Blue also had an incredible day going 4-0, finishing with an 8-1 team record in the duals on day 2.

Championship day is tomorrow also will be live at 8AM. One more day to go! Keep fighting, stay focused, and leave it all on the mat. We are so proud of you, Kyan, and the entire Team Michigan Blue. Go finish what you started boys!

Day 2 kicks off at 8:00 AM!

What a great start to the Disney Duals! Team Michigan Blue finished Day 1 with an impressive 4-1 team record, and Kyan also had a strong day, going 4-1 on the mat.

Good luck to Kyan and the entire Team Michigan Blue as they get back to work today. Stay focused, wrestle hard, and enjoy every moment of this incredible experience.

One of our very own is representing Michigan on one of the biggest stages!

Kyan Roberts is competing with Team Michigan Blue at the Disney Duals, one of the largest scholastic wrestling tournament in the country. Kyan is down in Florida doing what he does best—working hard, competing with heart, and representing his hometown with pride.

Three matches so far today. Three wins so far. 💪

No matter what the final standings say, we couldn’t be more proud!

Kyan Roberts, we see you. We support you. Byron strong! Go Team Michigan Blue! Go Kyan!
