JR HIGH FED THE COLTS!!
This year we spent time developing our speed on the football field. We had impressive results! Our SPEED DEMON of the season was Hunter S at 19mph. 18mph, Chase G, Mason R. 17mph Brantley S, Camden J, Kannan T, Stephen C and David S. Great season of growth!

These MPH banners were intended for High School athletes, with our lowest mark being 17MPH. But we donā€™t want to overlook the incredible progress all our athletes made. Combined, we had an average increase of 4.58% per athlete.

We raised the floor. These athletes trusted the process, bought in, and WE got faster. Our notable improvements over 10% increase include:

Gunner: +11.48%
Baseline: 14.94 MPH
Best: 16.65 MPH

Ickes: +10.79%
Baseline: 13.28 MPH
Best: 14.71 MPH

Benny: +10.63%
Baseline: 13.64 MPH
Best: 15.09 MPH

Brantley: +10.26% Baseline:15.52 MPH
Best: 17.11 MPH

Colby: +10.06%
Baseline: 11.76 MPH
Best: 12.94 MPH

We measured progress, celebrated improvements, and brought everyone with us!

MEADOWBROOK MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL HAS BEEN WORKING!!
SPEED ISNā€™T ALWAYS ABOUT WHO IS FASTEST.
In June, we had:
ā€¢ 0 athletes @ 18+ MPH
ā€¢ 2 @ 17 MPH
ā€¢ 3 @ 16 MPH
ā€¢ 2 @ 15 MPH
ā€¢ 4 @ 14 MPH
ā€¢ 8 @ 13 MPH
In August:
ā€¢ 2 athletes @ 18+ MPH
ā€¢ 5 @ 17 MPH
ā€¢ 4 @ 16 MPH
ā€¢ 6 @ 15 MPH
ā€¢ 7 @ 14 MPH
ā€¢ 2 @ 13 MPH
The difference?
In June, only 7 athletes were reaching 15+ MPH.
Today, 17 athletes are.
Thatā€™s a 143% increase.
The best part of all thisā€¦. our 13 MPH group
Went from 8 to only 2
The goal isnā€™t simply to produce a couple of really fast athletes.
Itā€™s to raise the speed of the entire team. And when you raise the floor of the entire team, you raise what the entire team is capable of.
Feed the C**ts!!!
Lucky to have GAP Speed and Athletics as one of of coaches!!
