Welcome to our AFTER SCHOOL SURF PROGRAM. This year we will have a Learn to Surf and Coaching Program for local Outer Banks surfers.
Our programs teach more than surfing. Through time in the water, surfers develop communication, time management, problem solving, decision-making and independence— skills they will carry with them far beyond the beach.
LEARN to SURF
Designed for beginner surfers who’ve never surfed, surfed a handful of times or done a few lessons and camps. We provide properly sized surfboards and wetsuits with opportunity to advance.
COACHING
For surfers with their own hard boards. We will work on catching your own waves, positioning, wave selection, bottom and top turns, and making better decisions in the water. Working directly with Morgan O’Connell in small group setting. Limited availability.
WHEN and WHERE
Programs will run after school and on weekends in Avon, NC. Each week, we’ll post the days with the best conditions for each class. Students will be divided into small groups based on their level.
LOCAL OFF-SEASON RATES
We offer reasonable rates for local surfers during the off season.
