As the first head coach of Butte High Baseball, Jim LeProwse laid the foundation for what this program has become. His dedication, leadership, and passion for the game helped build a culture that will continue long after his time in the dugout.
The bar has been set incredibly high for whoever follows in his footsteps. Coach LeProwse didn’t just coach baseball he mentored young men, built relationships, and helped create a legacy that will forever be part of Butte High Baseball history.
We will miss him tremendously and can never fully thank him for everything he gave to this program, the players, and the community. Thank you, Coach LeProwse, for believing in Bulldogs Baseball and for leaving it better than you found it.

A special thank you to Lynette LeProwse for sharing Jim with all of us. Behind every great coach is an even greater support system, and Lynette has been exactly that.
It takes a special woman to hold down the fort, make sacrifices, and share countless hours, evenings, weekends, and seasons so that her husband can pour into young athletes and make a difference in their lives. Coaching at any level requires commitment from the entire family, and Lynette’s support has played a huge role in the success and impact Jim has had throughout his coaching career.
Thank you, Lynette, for your sacrifices, your support, and for allowing Jim to leave such a lasting legacy on Butte High Baseball. We are grateful for both of you and all that you have given to this program.
