FALL 2026 YOUTH REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
-Season starts Mid/Late September and runs to November.
Learn to Play Program 4-6 year olds
-Mondays 6:00-7:00pm / 8 sessions / $60 per player
Ages 6 to 16 year olds / 8 game season + playoffs / $75 player
- Penguin (6-9) / Games will be played Wednesday evenings.
- Beaver (10-12) / Games will be played Wednesday evenings.
- Cadet (13-17) / Games will be played Monday evenings.
Game days subject to change based on registrations.
(Coaches will hold practices with their teams when best available for their team.)
Equipment Required: Shin guards, elbow pads, gloves, helmet & stick.

No game this weekend, but the player spotlight carries on: Week 3 player spotlight is for #23, Sean Roskovski!

Sean is an 8th grade defenseman and another new addition to Butler Ball Hockey, as this is Sean's rookie season in the NSBHL. He doesn't stop at defense though. Sean also plays goalie for the Armstrong Arrows "National Bound" 14u AA team.

Fun Facts
Sean's favorite hockey player is Carey Price and his favorite sport that isn't hockey is golf.

Our week 2 spotlight shines on #12, Henry Dlugas!

Henry is a 6th grade defenseman and NSBHL rookie. (He played a great first game!) Outside of Butler, Henry also plays in the Butler Dek Hockey cadet & beaver leagues.

Fun Facts
Henry's favorite food is spaghetti and he has one pet: a dog named Jackson.

Week 1 is in the books. Butler Middle School fell to North Hills Ball Hockey 8-1 this afternoon.

North Hills picked up right where they left off in 2025, proving they are still the team to beat for 2026. Congrats to NH on a strong week 1 win.

Butler's only goal came early in the 2nd period when Kyle Wissinger fought off several defenders before finding his own rebound and the back of the net for his and Butler's first goal of the year.

Special shoutout to rookies Ashlyn Sellers, Carter Schnur, Henry Dlugas, Lucas Poole, and Sean Roskovski for playing in their first NSBHL game!

Butler (0-1-0) is back in action on September 13th for a week 2 matchup against Thomas Jefferson (1-0-0).

Our weekly Player Spotlights are back. Week 1 belongs to #18, JJ McLafferty!

JJ is a 7th grade defenseman and 2026 will be his 2nd season with Butler Ball Hockey's Middle School team. Outside of our team, JJ also plays in the Butler Dek Hockey cadet league.

Fun Facts: JJ's favorite video game is NHL and his favorite school subject is History.
