This week's player spotlight is on #9, Ashlyn Sellers.

Ashlyn is a 6th grade center and she's having a fantastic rookie season with Butler. Playing center is a tough job, but you wouldn't know it watching her play. She's done a great job on both side of the dek for Butler. Outside of Butler Ball Hockey, Ashlyn also plays for Butler Inline Hockey and plays in the cadet league at Butler Dek Hockey.

Fun Facts
Ashlyn plays the viola and her favorite hockey player is #66, Mario Lemieux.

Good luck heading into playoffs, Ash!

Butler's winning continued today with a 9-2 win over Thomas Jefferson!

After falling to TJ earlier this season, Butler won today in convincing fashion. Captain Bladen Dittmer got it going early for Butler with a hat trick in the 1st period helping Butler take a 3-1 lead into the intermission. Dittmer wasn't done there, though. He picked up his 4th of the game in the 2nd period. Butler began to pull away in the 2nd with a goal from Sean Roskovski and 2 goals from Kyle Wissinger. Butler started the 3rd up by 5 and had their sights set on a win. Wissinger finished his hat trick early in the final period by scoring his league-leading 15th goal of the season. Less than 2 minutes later, Arturo DiDomenico put the finishing touches on a big win with an outstanding individual effort goal to end the game at 9-2. Wissinger, Wellner, Dittmer, and Roskovski all added assists to the scoresheet and goaltender Luke Daubenspeck continued his steady play in net, allowing only 2 goals for the 3rd time this season.

Butler's 3rd win in a row moves them up to 4th place with a record of 4-3-0. Next week Butler will look to keep the winning going against 1st place Seneca Valley (5-1-1).
