You might be wondering why we're posting a picture of a hack in the ice...it's because this isn't just a hack, it's a picture of customer service that went above and beyond.

Last Saturday, during the last regular season draw of our Spring/Summer league we had one of our hacks fail. With the playoffs set to start today (Friday, 7/17), we went online Saturday night to see if we could find a replacement hack in time for the Friday evening playoff draws. Dakota Curling Supplies not only had one in stock, but Jason Armstrong followed up on the order that we placed Saturday night to make sure we had the two sets of Marco Rubbers that we needed instead of the one that we ordered with the hack (us Florida curlers aren't as familiar with this stuff as some of the rest of you), and he personally took it to the UPS store on Tuesday and upgraded the shipping (at no extra charge) to make sure it got down to Jacksonville by the end of the day Thursday. And not only that, when we received and opened the package on Thursday afternoon we found that he'd also installed the rubbers on the hack for us already!

Thanks very much, Jason and Dakota Curling Supplies! Just another example of how the curling community takes care of each other.

To say this rock has a bit more meaning is an understatement.

We can't stress how proud we are of Danny and Team Casper for making it to the 2026 Winter Olympics as Team USA. From the watch parties to league broomstacking while the games were on and wearing the new gear (available at Broomfitters), we were all living and dying with each moment.

Many of our members have seen Danny's journey from the start, as a kid in the junior program to the man he's become today with USA Curling. His parents Jeff and Karen are still big fixtures at our club and we have maybe sometimes bugged them at nauseum with questions about how Danny's doing.

We could go on for paragraphs, but simply to Danny...

You made us so proud and we can't wait to see you, Luc, Ben, and Aidan represent the United States in a few months.

Congratulations! 🥌🇺🇲
