Tom's Rod 7 1/2' 2/2 5wt. Bamboo fly rod

This is a rod that I made in 2023. It's a 7 1/2', 5wt with 2 tips, with 7 snake guides on each tip and a stripping guide and 1 snake guide on the butt section. It has a 6" cigar grip and a nickle silver slide band reel seat hardwear with curly maple insert. I used a EC Powell taper, the ferrules are vintage Cross chrome plated nickle silver. Rod is wraped with Gudebrod #221. The rod has a faster action than I like so will sell and make another Will ship in a new alum. tube, and a new bag. $450.00 + Shipping Check or money order. Shakespeare 7 1/2' 2/2 Bamboo Fly rod

I got this rod several years ago(15). When I got the rod all guides and markings were gone, there was a tiny piece of a oval green Shakespeare decal on the rod but it didn't stick around. I refinished the rod. I used 7 snake brand guides on each tip and 1 snake and a agate stripper guide on the butt. Rod has a uplocking reel seat cigar grip and a nice swelled butt. Butt section is 45 3/4" one tip is 45 5/8" the other tip is 45 1/4"Ferrules are all in good shape tight to the rod and fit good. Its ready to go fishing I don't take it out anymore as I fish my rods that I make
