Severe storms heading into Vermont and Northern New York tonight and tomorrow.

State of Emergency declared by Vermont Gov. Phil Scott. The National Weather Service in Burlington and local meteorologists are expecting torrential downpours and potential for catastrophic damage throughout the North Country. Damage caused can be life threatening. People could lose power or access to roads for days.

Please take these warnings seriously. Make sure you’re prepared for anything!!! Stay safe!!!

When you have a tough time leaving, you know it was all worth it.

I’m so blessed to have had the opportunity to report for more than two years on the many communities that make Vermont, Northern New York and New Hampshire’s Upper Valley so special. This place is truly my second home.

I’ve met the greatest friends and the man I love here. I’ve told the incredible stories of the people who make this place wonderful. I’m honored that so many have trusted me to be their voice in the face of adversity.

I’m taking a chance and figuring out what’s next for me. Whatever that ends up being, it’s thanks to this place and these people.
