We are currently looking for players interested in joining a U16 boys team with the Alamance Aztecs! We are planning to hold tryouts tentatively next week, but with the weather not looking great right now, dates may be adjusted as needed.

We are excited to announce our upcoming tryouts. Whether you are looking for Academy-level development or competitive Classic play, we have a place for your player to grow.

U9 & U10 Academy Assessments
*Have concluded at this time*

U11 & U12 Boys Classic Tryouts
Competitive play for rising youth athletes.
Dates: Tuesday, May 19 – Thursday, May 21
Time: 5:30 PM – 6:45 PM
Location: Joe Davidson Park

U14 Boys Classic Tryouts
Advancing skills and tactical gameplay.
Dates: Tuesday, May 19 – Thursday, May 21
Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Location: Joe Davidson Park

U15 Girls & U15 Boys Classic Tryouts
Girls participate in Fall 2026 NCYSA League Play & Boys participate in Spring NCYSA 2027 League Play.
Advancing skills and tactical gameplay.

Important Information for Parents:
Arrival: Please arrive 15–20 minutes early for check-in and warm-ups.
Gear: Players should bring a soccer ball, plenty of water, and wear cleats and shin guards.
Players are expected to attend ALL days listed for their age group.

Wrapped up another Lil Aztecs session and the kids are having a blast! ⚽️❤️

At this age, the goal is simple — help kids fall in love with the ball and the game. Building confidence, having fun, making friends, and creating a strong foundation now helps set them up for success later on in their soccer journey.

Lots of smiles, lots of energy, and lots of touches on the ball today! We love watching these future Aztecs grow each week.

Tryout season is here in Burlington, NC and we are excited for the growth of soccer in our community! We can’t wait to see more teams formed, more players finding their passion for the game, and even more opportunities for friendlies and competition throughout the area.

As families begin attending tryouts and exploring club options, we encourage parents to ask questions and stay informed about the plans ahead for their child’s team. Things like:
• League play and travel expectations
• Team structure and player development plans
• Coaching philosophy and communication
• Team composition and long-term goals

Every club operates differently, and finding the right fit for your player and family matters.
