This coat has serious main character energy.

Inspired by my love of Frog & Toad’s “The Lost Button” (IYKYK & check out what’s in the pocket), this piece is a celebration of the ordinary.

I emphasized my bold, simple, slightly rough-around-the-edges approach to design by choosing to focus on something as humble as a button. Each button was constructed by hand & then stitched onto this low-color, hand block-printed backdrop.
