Many hands made light work earlier today at Vermont Repertory Theatre in Williston.

Burlington Rugby Football Club helped to break down the house risers and stage for storage until February.

BRFC is proud to represent our greater community not only on the pitch, but also through various volunteering opportunities. If you need more hands on a project, send us a DM!

BRFC Men+ had a great turn out for their first Alumni Appreciation Day ahead of their Semi Final next weekend.

It was a blast seeing the new faces meet the ol, er… various faces of the club’s stages through the years. They shared some b**r, food, and remembered the brothers and sisters who weren’t able to make it.

They also had a special gifting of the number 9s from the recently retired jerseys that welcomed the club back from COVID and that saw them through to a Championship at the USA Rugby Atlantic Super Regionals in 2023.

We hope this is a step to strengthening our club as a whole, and keeping alumni involved, and we hope to see you more through until next year!

This week’s Match of the Week features the Men+’s last regular season game. Now standing at 3-0, Burlington travels down to Boston to face an annual thorn, the Boston Maccabi.

The last three meetings of these teams have resulted in upsets in the Maccabi’s favor as Burlington has 2 losses and a draw against them in previous seasons.

One of those loses being the last regular season ‘home’ (played in Stowe) game losses that Burlington has suffered.

Keep an eye out for match lineups, locations and kick off times as Burlington Men+ look to have the chip on their shoulder be dealt with to close the season out.

Thank you to McKee’s Original Bar and Game Room for sponsoring this week’s Match of the Week!

BWRFC+ didn’t come home with the results they wanted, but they did come back with renewed vigor for the game and even more love for their fellow teammates!

Burlington brought the tenacity to Beantown in the second half and were able to put points on the board against a strong defensive team. They never gave up and they will be looking to use what they learned this past weekend towards their playoff-deciding game against Worcester WRFC coming up on 10/24.
