We’ve spent the last few posts getting to know the coaches who will be leading this group, and now it’s time to start putting faces, personalities, and soccer skills to the jerseys. 🖤⚽️

Coming up, we’ll be introducing our Solar Paez players by position, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. 👀🔥

We’re wrapping up our Meet the Coaches series with Coach Ian Joseph! 🖤⚽️ Ian Joseph

Coach Ian's dad had a soccer ball at his feet since he could walk! ⚽️ He played club soccer with Fort Worth Futbol Club in the Dallas Classic League and played 4 years of Varsity soccer at Crowley High School.

He started coaching in 2018 as an assistant coach at Crowley High School and has been part of the Solar Paez family since 2024. 🙌

🎯 Coaching Philosophy: Build a love for the game while focusing on the fundamentals and creating strong soccer foundations.

Now for the fun stuff… 👀😂

🔵 Favorite Team: Chelsea
⭐ Favorite Players: Roberto Carlos, Michael Essien & Didier Drogba
🍗 Favorite Food: Caribbean/Indian food & Texas BBQ 🤤
🌱 Fun Fact: His favorite hobby is… lawncare! 😂

Next up in our “Meet the Coaches” series… Coach Michael Boone! 🖤⚽️ Michael Boone Jr

Here’s a little bit about the coach behind the whistle 👇

⚽️ Soccer Journey: Playing since he was 4 years old! He played 3 years of college soccer at the University of the Southwest and has been coaching for 6 years. As a high school coach, he won a District Championship at Everman, and his team has made the UIL 5A State Playoffs 3 years in a row! 🏆🔥

🎯 Coaching Philosophy: Teach the game, help players understand it, and most importantly, help them learn to love the game. The winning comes from good education! 🧠⚽️

✨ Favorite Player: Ronaldinho
🐐 Best Player Ever: Lionel Messi
🦀 Favorite Food: Crab legs!

😂 Fun Fact: His idea of the perfect vacation is an all-you-can-eat buffet + a gym to train. Honestly… priorities! 😂💪🍽️

We’re kicking off our “Meet the Coaches” series with our Head Coach, Coach Joseph Paez

A few things you might not know about him 👀👇

⚽️ Soccer Journey: Played at the collegiate level and has been coaching for 6 years. He currently serves as a Director of Coaching and holds his USSF B License.

🧠 Coaching Style: He wants his players to be brave, smart, confident, and unselfish who understand the game, make confident decisions, but most importantly, to grow as great teammates and great people. 💪

⚪️ Favorite Team: Real Madrid
🐐 Favorite Players: CR7 & Kaká
🍮 Favorite Food: Puerto Rican flan (okay… now we know how to keep Coach happy 😂)
🧱 Fun Fact: He LOVES building LEGO sets! 👷‍♂️
