Mr. Sideline Cheer Champion: For the dad whose unique combination of whistles, shouts, and interpretive dance can be heard from three fields away!

Mr. Cleat-Finder Extraordinaire: You possess the mystical ability to locate lost soccer gear, saving the day one game at a time!

Mr. Motivational Speech Giver: The master of the pre-game monologue, who can turn a simple corner kick into an epic tale of destiny and determination!

Mr. GPS-Challenged Field Finder: For the dad who always gets a little lost on the way to away games but eventually gets there!

Mr. Lost-Ball Retriever: The hero who braves the bushes, fences, and muddy ditches for a rogue soccer ball.

Coach Sosa brings a truly unique and diverse soccer background to BTX Valor FC, rooted in both competitive play and a strong commitment to values and discipline. He currently serves as the ๐‡๐ž๐š๐ ๐‚๐จ๐š๐œ๐ก ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” ๐†๐ข๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐“๐ž๐š๐ฆ, bringing his wealth of experience directly to our young athletes.

His journey in soccer began right here in Texas, where he played for various local leagues. But his experience quickly expanded internationally! Coach Sosa had the distinct pleasure of being part of the ๐”.๐’. ๐๐š๐ฏ๐ฒ ๐๐€๐“๐Ž ๐“๐ž๐š๐ฆ ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž๐š๐ฌ, where he proudly helped lead them to a ๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ง๐-๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐š๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐€๐“๐Ž'๐ฌ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐ข๐ง ๐„๐ฎ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž ๐ข๐ง ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ! Closer to home, Coach Sosa also has roots in youth development, having played for the ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐ƒ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ ๐ฎ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ-๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ‘, an experience that undoubtedly shaped his understanding of foundational soccer.

Beyond his impressive playing career, Coach Sosa is deeply ๐๐ž๐๐ข๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ ๐ฏ๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ž โ€“ principles that are essential for success both on and off the field.

This weekend, the Burleson soccer community comes together for the BISA May Day Madness Tournament! We're excited to see some of our Valor players joining independent teams for this fun event. Come out and be a part of the action!

We also want to take a moment to recognize the incredible impact of Burleson Independent Soccer Association! BISA Soccer is the foundation upon which so much of Burleson's soccer success is built. The majority of our Valor players started their journey in BISA's recreational program, learning the fundamentals and developing their passion for the beautiful game. Thank you, BISA, for your tireless efforts in fostering the growth of soccer in our community!

As a former accomplished goalkeeper himself at Texas Wesleyan (earning a 2nd-team All-RRAC selection in 2002) and recognized nationally as an Honorable Mention NAIA All-American at Huron University, Coach Josh possesses an intrinsic understanding of the position.

The depth of Coach Josh's experience, from nurturing young talent at the club level to building a championship-winning collegiate program and coaching with a professional organization like FC Dallas, makes him an invaluable asset to BTX Valor FC.
