💜⚡️ The BTX Volts got to get a little scrimmage action in with our hometown friends - Texas Legacy! ⚡️💚

The girls had an absolute blast getting to play against their friends and girls they’ve shared the field with throughout the many seasons of softball. From rec ball to travel ball, so many of these girls have grown up playing together, competing with and against each other, and always cheering each other on along the way. 🥹💪🏼

A big thank you to Texas Legacy for a fun afternoon of softball! We love getting to see these girls play, grow, and enjoy the game together.

Friends at the field, competitors between the lines, softball family always!💜⚡️

⚡️ First Game. First Win. First Pickle.⚡️

What a way for the BTX Volts 12U to start their season together! 💜💚

In their very first game as a team, these girls battled, competed, and came away with an 8–3 WIN! 🥎🔥

And this play right here says it all…🥒👏
The girls beautifully executed a PICKLE, moving the ball through SIX handoffs to keep the runner at third! A great display of communication, hustle, and teamwork from these girls! 💜⚡️💚

It’s just the beginning, but we couldn’t be more proud of how they came together and fought for each other. 💜⚡️💚

💜⚡️ FIRST TOURNAMENT IN THE BOOKS! ⚡️💚

We couldn’t be more proud of our 12U BTX Volts! These girls battled through some EXTREME Texas heat last weekend and never stopped fighting. 🥵🔥

These girls competed against teams that have been playing together for quite some time. Despite being the new team on the field, our girls showed that they belong! 💪🏼🥎

But this weekend wasn’t just about the games. ❤️ It was about the memories they made together — laughing between games, cheering each other on, getting to know their new teammates, and building friendships that will hopefully last far beyond this season. Those are the moments we’ll remember most. 🫶🏼

They battled. They learned. They encouraged one another. They grew closer. And through every hot inning and tough game, they continued to show up for each other. ⚡️

This is just the beginning, Volts! ⚡️

Proud of this group. Proud of their fight. Proud to be BTX Volts. 💜💚

The BTX Volts are excited to introduce our Head Coach, ⚡️Travis Mooney⚡

Coach Travis brings years of softball coaching experience and a genuine passion for developing young athletes. Over the past three seasons as a 12U select head coach, he’s built competitive teams while earning the trust and respect of his players and their families. Last season, his team finished with an impressive 45-15 record.

As a former high school and collegiate catcher, Travis understands the game from every angle. His experience behind the plate helped shape the leadership, communication, and game management skills that define his coaching style today.

For Coach Travis, success is about more than the scoreboard. His goal is to develop fundamentally sound players, build confidence, encourage teamwork, and inspire a strong work ethic that carries beyond the softball field. He believes every athlete deserves the opportunity to grow, compete, and reach their full potential.

Whether it’s extra reps after practice, teaching the finer details of the game, or celebrating each player’s progress, Coach Travis is fully invested in helping every athlete succeed.

⚡ At BTX Volts, we’re building more than a team—we’re building confident, hardworking athletes and Coach Travis is excited to lead the way. 🥎⚡
