Well, for all my friends that are following. I am going to continue my journey with Michelle and maybe competing next spring but I have withdrawn my entry into the RRP this year.

I made a huge mistake and missed the deadline for the microchip.

The way I look at it, it is a blessing and now I can take my time and Michelle's time and be ready to compete when we are ready and not on a rigid timeline.

Wish us luck being ready for the Spring shows!!!!

Wow. I am so far behind but started riding today. Michelle picked up like she hadn't missed a day. She was so good. Walked poles on the ground and patterns. Need to get her feet tidied up a bit.

I forgot to post this one but I have had a few more rides and she is so good! I know I am WAY behind the other competitors from 2020 but I did finally order my jumps so at least I have something to go over, when she and I are ready.

Back to riding!!!! She was AWESOME today. She had some time off, for a few things and today, seemed like the right day...

Back to riding!!!! She was AWESOME today. She had some time off, for a few things and today, seemed like the right day to get back on. I jumped right back in where we left off and other than a little cranky moving off the right leg laterally, something to work on, she kept making me laugh. She was like riding a drunk it has been so long. I think she forgot she had someone steering the ship! We did poles on the ground and just played! I didn't get any pictures today so this is a throw back to the clinic.

Well, I guess I knew this was coming. The makeover has been postponed until 2021! There are a number of things this means for me:

1. More time to get Michelle ready to compete! We are still a little challenged with healthy hooves so I have been taking it easy.
2. More time to get ME ready to compete! I realized, I don't even know where all my show clothes are since we moved....Another year should be good to find them and give me more time to ride and get to know Michelle.
3. BAD NEWS. I was counting on selling Michelle in October but I am already falling in love with this amazing mare....will make it much harder to put her up for sale.....

I am loving this journey to the makeover and one more year will be good all around for us!

Awesome news! Chiropractor came out today and Michelle held her adjustment, didn't need one today! That is so exciting...

Awesome news! Chiropractor came out today and Michelle held her adjustment, didn't need one today! That is so exciting. On a side note......she wouldn't move and go back to the pasture until he did some loosening work on her...she LOVES to be handled and did NOT want to miss out on the Chiro work!!! We were both in hysterics watching her and knowing she wanted it!.......
