Seasons...
This is my family (missing Aaron). In this moment — we're in a rough season.
Analiese is walking out a hard recovery, carrying things few will ever see or know and that has changed the rhythm of our lives.
Josiah is continuing to navigate becoming the man God called him to be, overcoming in a life where limitations continuously press to define him.
Avalon is chasing her calling while she and her husband navigate the sacrifice, distance, and uncertainty that come with deployment.
And together as a family, we've carried loss, change, uncertainty, illness, and goodbyes we weren't ready for.
Some seasons are just harder than others. This is one of them.
But we've learned this: a season is just that — a season.
We've stood on mountaintops. We've walked through valleys. Every hard season has eventually turned.
This isn't about pretending it's all good. It's about knowing it won't stay like this.
The page turns. Joy returns. God has been faithful through every chapter.
We're in a valley right now. But we know better than to mistake a season for our story.
This is us. This is family. This is life. Stay encouraged through every season and lift up others in theirs… and always…
