TONIGHT at 7:00pm, the Mohave Thunderbirds take on the Prescott Badgers at the House of Thunder for our first region game of the year.

Your Thunderbirds take on an opponent that they haven’t beaten for the last 5 years, while losing with an average margin of loss being 42 points..

Your Thunderbirds are motivated and excited for the challenge, show up and support your Thunderbirds for their first region game!

A dominating performance by the players today. They understood what this rivalry means and they responded accordingly.

The players executed the game plan very well, and it showed in the final score. Pressing the whole game and challenging them to push through adversity.. Most importantly, we controlled what we could control. The turnovers were held under 10 and we didn’t give in to a loud and heckling Havasu home crowd.

Proud of these boys.. but on to the next!

FIRST OFF: To the home crowd and supporters, we thank you. You showed up and cheered all game for your T-Birds, an absolutely great showing from the crowd for the first game of the season. Keep it up!

The boys lost a tough game that was closer than the final score shows. A good start to the game; energy was high, ball was moving, defense was aggressive. Moon Valley’s constant pressure affected us as the game went on, and they slowly started to pull away.

Coaching’s gotta be better so the boys come out more prepared. We’ll be back and we’ll be better with a week to improve on this game.

Football players rejoin the program this week, returning the Varsity team to full strength for their December 1st matchup with 4A Arcadia at home.

The Mohave Boys Basketball team opens the season with a home game vs. Moon Valley (PHX) this Saturday, November 22nd. Come and support your family and friends as they start a new season playing the game they love.

Freshman/Sophomore : 12:00pm
Junior Varsity: 1:30pm
Varsity: 3:00pm

EARLY SEASON VARSITY ROSTER -

The Varsity roster early in the season is filled with underclassmen, with multiple key players still participating in a playoff football run! 6 of our key players early are Sophomores or Freshman, and with a tough schedule early they’re going to have to play well to get us off to a good start for the upcoming season.

The Varsity team competed in the pre season scrimmages at Lake Havasu High School this past Thursday (11/13/2025) and with only a week to learn a completely new system, they performed well. Playing a faster pace and more together than ever before.y
