Incredible job by our Senior lifters!

Zayden Cox, Ray Martinez, and Zaiden Worley have earned Academic All-State status. Zayden and Ray are on the Wlite Team and Zaiden made the 1st Team.

They have consistently performed at a high level in the classroom and are also valuable lifters on our team.

This past Friday marked a bittersweet end to our powerlifting season.

Luke represented Hays with pride at the State meet with new PRs on Squat, Deadlift, and Total.

He finished 7th and we can’t wait to see what he does next season.

We came. We experienced. Now we get back to work.

State didn’t go as planned, but we’re proud of the fight. Madie battled through every lift and gave herself a chance at a medal on her final attempt.

We’ll take a well-deserved break, then get right back to building for next year. The goal is to return and finish on the podium.

We earned a 2nd Place finish in the Unequipped Division at Regionals, marking our program’s best finish in 13 years.

We are proud of the way our athletes competed, and it showed when several lifters hit season-best totals at Regionals.

Congratulations to Luke Neely for qualifying for the State Meet, along with several Hawks who were in strong contention throughout the competition.

We are very proud of Eyan Stigall, one of the most beloved competitors at the meet. Although he was unable to finish, the support shown by coaches, judges, and athletes from across the region spoke volumes about his character and the way he represents our program.

This team continues to build something special, and we are excited for what’s ahead.

Next stop: State.

Region 1 Runner-Up – Unequipped Division

The Hawks finished 2nd place in Region 1, marking the best regional finish for our program in 13 years.

We’re proud of what this group accomplished, and even more excited about the direction we’re headed. The Hawks are building a program that will be one to reckon with in the future.
