Little over 2 weeks away sept 19th pheasant opener at Luthers pheasant hunting. Cover is great bird cost went up a bit $110 for 4 birds mixed hens and roosters. If you need a great guide with excellent dogs $75 half day. We do morning hunts 8am to 12pm and afternoon hunts 1pm to 5pm. Weekend hunts filling fast but we can hunt all week also. With the elevated fertilizer cost I raised bird prices from $25/bird to $27.50. So for are 4 bird minimum it will be $110 instead of $100.

Hope everyone is having a great summer and keeping your dogs exercised and cool. The pheasant fields are really growing well with all the rain and heat. I have already had a couple guys come out and run there dogs in the early am while its wet and cool and said field conditions were excellent for bird cover. So if you want to get your dog in shape give me a call and we will set it up.

Thanks to everyone that has came hunting or has a hunt booked in the next couple weeks. We are not taking anymore reservations for this year. We will start back up in mid september 2026. So great to see so many hunters that have supported this place for so many years back out here tredging through the fields enjoying there dogs and hunting experience. Thanks again.

Opening day today light rain birds fully mature flying great get your hunt booked. Nov 9th is gonna be are last day. Weekends are booked thru the first weekend in oct already.

So just over a month away and we start hunting. These birds will be fully colored and strong flyers. So put a group together ill arrange a guide with great dogs. Put the golf clubs down those white balls hard to cook and come shoot at pheasant dinner.
