My family got a beautiful urn, I get to sit right in the living room with all of them. They got my paw print too! My boy sleeps with a jar of my fur above his crib so he knows I’m watching over him.

We got the necropsy results today. Unfortunately the trainer has already taken her business off of Facebook. Our dogs went to K9 retreat in Bertram, Texas. The trainer had said Sable had been eating, and drinking water well. As well as peeing and pooping just fine.

When the necropsy was done, the tissue cells were dead and damaged. We were told by the trainer she had passed Thursday at 2am. Sadly Sable suffered alone in her kennel while she passed. The necropsy showed that she was severely dehydrated and her stomach was absolutely empty. No dog should’ve passed like this, especially alone. The trainer hasn’t even apologized, or showed any remorse.

We still have not received our refund from her and are struggling to find the money to cover all vet bills. So please continue to donate and help to put a stop to Animal Abuse.

We have updated the police, just waiting for the next step.

We have all text messages, and Facebook messages proving the neglect to our animals. We are raising awareness to stop animal neglect and abuse! Please keep the negativity to yourself while our family is still grieving the loss of our best friend.

Hello! My name is Sable, but my family calls me Chauncey. I lived a wonderful 14 months before I had to have an unexpected departure. I went off to training even though I was the goodest girl I was just scared of outside. I wanted to be a better companion to my family and my boy Bentley.

I loved roughhousing, and playing with my family. I loved chasing my tail, I caught it everytime. I loved cuddling with my boy Bentley. My human sister brought him into this world, but I declared him my boy. We took a lot of naps. I also loved playing with my puppy siblings. Pulling and tugging them around.

I was joined in training with my sister Sadie, who also needed to strengthen her manners. My parents are unsure of what happened at training. My parents were finally notified on day 3 about a sore on my tounge, and that I wasn’t eating. Even though my mom was told I was eating a little bit. My parents were called at 2:14 am, Thursday, May 23rd regarding my untimely departure. I passed away in my kennel alone, hungry and scared. My parents are getting a necropsy done to fill in the blanks of my journey.

My sister came home, 6 lbs lighter. Covered in urine and dirt. With sores and rash from being in her kennel. She is cowering to our family. Scared of being hurt.

My family have called the police and started an investigation for me. So the trainer can’t hurt anyone else.

To all my friends and family, this is not the end. This is the beginning to protected other good girls and boys like me. Please help my family spread the word of animal abuse and neglect.

My wonderful family wants to pass a bill in my name. To ensure all trainers, boarders, and groomers are regulated by the state of Texas. To protect all the animals and make sure they come home.

My family and I are raising money to cover the cost of our tragedy. We are looking for help to cover financial loss, the necropsy, and raise awareness.
We brought our two dogs to training. She had promised pictures and videos daily. We received nothing. We would get a daily text saying the dogs ate a little and slowly adjusting. On the fourth day she reached out to my dad saying they have not eaten at all and the one year old has a sore on her tongue. We could not go get them due to tornadoes and bad storms. 6 hours later she called once and sent a text once to call her in the morning. We called for two hours before reaching her. The trainer said sable ate at 10 and passed away in her kennel by 2 am.
We rushed the two hour drive to pick up our dogs. We took Sable to the vet for a necropsy. We get the results soon.
Our other dog came home terrified, and covered in dirt and urine. She is cowering down to us, and has multiple sores from the kennel.
She is now avoiding all of our text and calls for our refund to cover these cost.
We shouldn’t have had to make these payments due to her carelessness. We’re not 100% sure of what happened but we believe foul play was a huge factor.
We are also in the process of trying to create a bill so that trainers and boarding facilities have to be regulated here in TX. I know the economy is tight right now but every dollar helps.
