💜 Boys 4x1 take home 2nd 🥈 and Girls 4x1 finished 5th place; congratulations teams!
💜 Girls 4x4 finished 7th in the finals; good job girls!
💜 Going 2 for 2, Braylin Jackson WINS GOLD 🥇 in the 100m dash and 200m dash! Way to go, Braylin!
💜 Aydin Foster (20th) and Logan Lucy (24th) finished in Boys High Jump prelims, missing finals qualifications. Job well done, Aydin and Lucy!

Anddddd for day 2 at State:

💜 Aydin Foster finished 11th in Boys Triple Jump prelims, missing finals by 3 spots. Job well done, Aydin!
💜 Kaidyn Lee finished 21st in Girls Long Jump prelims, missing the finals qualification. Good job, Kaidyn!
💜 Laniya Wheeler finished 12th in Girls 200m prelims, missing finals by 4 spots
💜 Josiah Lightfoot finished 21st in Boys 200m prelims, missing finals qualification. Good job, Josiah!
💜 Braylin Jackson takes the #1 spot in Boys 200m prelims, advancing to the finals on tomorrow

The rubber meets the road. Tomorrow is only a day away! We'll have finals for the Boys 100m, Boys 200m, Girls and Boys 4x1, Girls 4x4 and Boys High Jump.

Bulldog fans, it's day 1 of the AHSAA State Track Meet in Gulf Shores, AL and our student-athletes have set the tone for the rest of the weekend:

💜 Boys (4th) and Girls (8th) 4x1 qualified for finals on Saturday
💜 Laniya Wheeler finished 11th in the Girls 100m, just missing the mark for finals. Job well done Laniya!
💜 Braylin Jackson finished 4th in the Boys 100m and qualified for finals on Saturday

We are just getting started! Tomorrow's line-up for us is Triple Jump (Aydin Foster), Long Jump (Kaidyn Lee), and the 200m dash (Braylin Jackson, Josiah Lightfoot and Laniya Wheeler)! Let's get it!

Tonight for senior night, we had the pleasure of honoring our 3 seniors; Josiah Lightfoot, Ikiara McClain and Braylin Jackson.

Thank you seniors for the time you've put into the program and for all your hard work over the years and throughout the season. You've helped lay foundations for your fellow track teammates for seasons to come! But don't high school be the last stop. They say sky's the limit but instead there's no ceilings! Congratulations seniors for an amazing high school TXF career! 💜🐶
