With the 2026 season right around the corner, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to all the new families joining Tiny Fins Aquatic Academy 💙

I’m a wife to a firefighter/paramedic and a mom of three. As a lifelong Florida resident, the water has always been a big part of my life—but becoming a parent changed everything. With three little ones so close in age, and firsthand exposure to water-related emergencies through my husband’s career, survival swim lessons became a priority for our family.

After seeing the impact it had on my own children, I knew I wanted to bring this resource to more families in our community. In 2022, our family relocated for two months for training in South Florida. I have been teaching survival swim in the Hernando County area ever since—and I truly love what I do.

While my primary role is being a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom, I’m grateful to offer lessons during the summer months. My schedule is limited, but I’m deeply committed to each child and family I work with, and I put my whole heart into every lesson.

Just a reminder- I will not be working from a rolling schedule this summer. I will have multiple sessions offered, each having their own start date. Once all slots are filled, I will not have any more availability. Spots remaining in each session are posted below.

March 30- 1 spot remaining
May 18- 4 spots remaining
June 29- 4 spots remaining

I will possibly add another session in August but it will only be mornings. If you are looking for afternoons, I will offer those in my May and June sessions ☺️

The 2026 season will begin March 30th and spots are limited. Instead of working off a waitlist this year I will have 4 separate sessions each with 15-20 slots. I am beginning to work on my schedule now. Once spots are full, I will not have anymore availability.

Sessions are 6 weeks long and the start dates are as follows:

March 30th
May 18th
June 29th
August 10th
