Night #2 at Southern Illinois Raceway!

Got the car all fixed up from our flip last night, the kiddos got the panels shining, and we got the spare wing on. Shes not as pretty but it'll get the job done for tonight. We had a rough go around last night, but its a new day and were hopeful for better luck tonight! Lets HUSTLE baby! 💰💸🏁

Its race day at Southern Illinois Raceway! Over 100 cars are here to compete for the $12,000 purse over the next two days. Austin is ready to represent Massac Co and the 41W Motorsports team and show them what we can do! We do ask that if you have a moment, please say a prayer for our driver as well as our competitors, officials, fans, and pit crews. Pray for the Lords protective hedge to be around each machine, each driver, and everyone else here at the track this evening. We give God all the glory for this opportunity to be here to represent our team and have the chance to race with some of the best micro sprint drivers in the nation. It was a great night of racing for the 41W team! Andy was so cute and did a great job in his juice box class. There were 40 cars in Austins class tonight and he unfortunately didnt make the A-Main this go around, but he gave it a great effort! Abilene had her best night of racing thus far! She had her first podium finish, ending in 2nd place out of 8 cars. We are SO proud of her!

Its race day for the 41W team!! We are excited to see what the night brings! If youre not busy come on out to Southern Illinois Raceway for a fun night of racing! Hot laps start at 6pm. We will have Austin Orr in our Winged outlaw car, Abilene Orr in the Jr Sprint, and Andy Orr representing the 41W in the Juicebox class. Due to all the rain this week, the races at Southern Illinois Raceway have been canceled for tonight. We appreciate all the track workers trying their best to make racing tonight possible, but sometimes mother nature draws the big straw 😔

That being said, we are spending our free Saturday by catching up on some "honey do's" around the house! It doesnt feel like Memorial Day weekend at all with the cool temps and all of the rain.
