Racing Results 8/7/26 Rapid Speedway

Heat Race #4

Started 8th ⬆️ 5th (DNF)

When it rains it pours! Night started out like any other night. Avoided some spinners and was trying to pass one more car, but when coming to the white flag of our heat race I got a bad vibration and saw and smelled smoke. Looks like the bottom end of our new motor exploded! 🤦‍♂️

I guess it’s back to the Crate for the remainder of the season. 🤷‍♂️

Sure has been a rough year. But we’ll keep digging because we’re stubborn lol!

Racing results 7/31/26 Rapid Speedway

Heat race #1:

Started 5th ⬇️ Finished 6th

Ran well was maintaining my spot until I hit a hole in turn one that upset the car. Got it under control and finished 6th.

A feature:

Started 16th ⬆️ Finished 14th

Tightened the car up for the feature. Could’ve went a little bit more. Good notes for next week as we’ll be back for the Dave Mulder memorial. Car was good and rotated well, made gains throughout the race. Good clean race on a slick track. Went green to checkered with no damage. So we will take it as a good night! Had fun and learned a thing or two.

Reynolds Racing had some visitors this evening!

A troop of Trail Life Boys swung by the garage to learn about hobbies and little bit about racing and all the joys that comes with it!

I got to explain about various aspects of dirt track racing and answer a ton of questions from a group of well mannered young men!

They got a tour of our small operation and see the car and what it takes to make it all work!

Glad they had some fun! Hopefully inspire some future racers!

Big shout out to Dennis Willert for making it happen!

Racing Results from I-90 Speedway on 7/11/26:

Heat Race #2:

Started 3rd ⬆️ Finished 1st

The pole sitter had to have a push to start so I moved up to the pole. Took the lead on the green flag down the front straight away with my new motor. Never lifted off the gas until I saw the checkered flag. New motor has a ton of power!

A Feature:

Started 6th ⬇️ 18th (DNF)

First lap was chaos had to check up for a car bouncing off the wall in front of me for which 3-4 cars went by. Then witnessed a spin out out in front of me went high to avoid and I was clear. But while others trying to avoid it, another car may have got hooked and sent up into me. Took a hard it for sure both me and the car are feeling it today.

With that being said that may bring and end to our season as the LF horn got pushed up and is rubbing on the steering shaft. So the frame will need to go on the rack. Along with a potential bent rearend. 😔 But we will see…. Stay tuned.

It’s a shame as we never got to truly test the new motor to see what it had when it really matters.

Due to ongoing health problems we will not be racing for the foreseeable future. I need to take some time off to get well, rest and recover my strength.

I feel terrible to all my sponsors that support me and the program. Your contributions are truly appreciated and don’t go unnoticed.

We hope to be back in action in a few weeks.

Racing Results for 6/13/26 at I-90 Speedway

Heat Race #2

Started 4th ➡️ Finished 4th

Track was fast, car was fast, but so was everyone else. Slipped back at the start and rallied for a 4th place finish

Feature:

Started 7th ⬇️ Finished 12th

Track was slick and the top was the place to be but it was a fine line to walk. Didn’t make enough adjustments for the track conditions. Still a fun track and race. We’ll adjust and be back next time. Car is good and in be piece.

Next weekend we will be off as I-90 is off for the High Bank Nationals at Husets.
