WEEKEND RECAP: Friday night we went to Creek County Speedway to throw caution to the wind and ran with the POWR 410'S. I believe we were just 4 cars out of 30 running with a 360. Didn't qualify very well (obviously). Started 8th finished 6th in the heat. That put us starting 7th out of 14 in the "B" main taking top 6. Bradley finished 4th and was driving very well. In the "A" we started 20th out of a field of 22 plus a provisional (23 total) after 25 laps Bradley got up as far as 9th, but when the smoke cleared and we were done it was a 12th place finish. Honestly, against that caliber of talent and the motor disadvantage this was a great achievement. I was very happy! Saturday, we headed to Batesville Speedway to run with the ASCS national tour. About an hour after we arrived Mother Nature unleased a biblical amount of rain and I was actually able to wave at Noah as he passed by in the Ark. Mother Nature must be an asphalt fan. She had no love for the Dirt racer. Next weekend we will run with the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints. Always a good time with those ole boy.
