We’ve been driving for two days and we already miss the Adirondack Mountains, the cooler weather in upstate New York, and the smallmouth.

We’ve crossed the Delaware River, seen Creepy Truck trailers 😱, ate some parking lot Arby’s and managed to make it to Santee Cooper. Marshall definitely gets all the sleep he needs!!

We will arrive to Kissimmee, Florida tomorrow and set the camper up before taking a special trip for our first time in the Florida Keys!

Well our final day on Lake Champlain did not disappoint! The wind got up again but that’s pretty much normal this go around! 💨 🌊

Caught my new PB Champlain Smallmouth at 5.94lbs!! They were munching the Booyah Baits Boss Pop and Drop Shot the 3” YUM Sniper Shad on a #2 Trokar TK110. Today we set out on Lake Champlain with multiple goals for Justin’s first visit to the lake.

First goal was to catch a mess of walleye which we accomplished in about 30 minutes! Then we doubled BUBBA twice where we had to use the BUBBA net to net two bass at the same time. Then we wanted to catch a mess of yellow perch to fish fry tomorrow for dinner! All goals accomplished and a tasty plan for dinner tomorrow: Sous Vide Walleye with Fried Yellow Perch as an appetizer. 😋

One of my best friends, Justin, flew up to chase some Champlain bass with me for a few days! Wednesday evening and yesterday had some gnarly 30+ south winds so we made the most of it! Got two more days ahead of us.

Check out Justin’s Giant Rudd Fish he caught on a 5” YUM Sniper Shad!! Apparently the world record is 3lbs 7oz!!

Miranda, Marshall, and I had a blast fishing with the Perch Fly Rigs that we got from Eagle Claw so we could catch some Northern Yellow Perch!

It doesn’t get much easier to go have fun catching fish!! Throw em out and slowly bring it back along the bottom.

Lake Champlain remained ROWDY which reminded me more of an Oklahoma Rodeo rather than a peaceful fishing trip! Congrats to the father son win Bryan Labelle Jake labelle because it wasn’t easy this week so hats off! We finished the event in 21st place and happy to make another Championship Saturday. Time for some Steak and Relaxing!!
