Our recap from last night. The first time in our new car. We finally had a good solid night. The car stayed together with no issues. The whole goal for last night was to just stay out of trouble drive the car easy and just bring it home in 1 piece. We did just that.

Went out for our heat race and we were starting in the back so we took that opportunity to just stay back and just log some laps.

We started 12th in the feature and just stayed patient and was avoiding trouble and we ended up with a 6th place finish.

For everything we have dealt with this year, last night felt like a win. We went from winning heat races and battling for top 3 finishes to being out for 2 months after we wrecked the last car.

It felt so good to be back behind the wheel. And there’s no way I could have done it w/o all the help and support I’ve gotten this year.

I have to give a big thank you to Eric and Dave over at DKM Fabrication for getting this thing scaled for me last minute yesterday morning. These 2 will help anyone no matter what you drive. If you have not been to the shop make sure to check it out. They do way more than just build racecars.

This will be the shortest recap we have had yet. This is very frustrating but we made it back to Fonda Speedway last night after about a month and a half off after our wreck. The goal tonight was to just take it easy with the new car and just make sure everything was going to be good and just bring the car home in one piece. Well long story short we made it 2 laps in hot laps and the left rear hub snapped off and destroyed the axle tube in the process. Which ended our night before it even started.

I can’t seem to catch a break. I’m not sure the time frame of when I will be back. I’ll keep everyone updated as much as I can.

Thank you to everyone for sticking around this year. This has been a season I can’t wait to forget. We are going to keep pushing and we will be back.

I know it has been a couple of weeks since our last update but first and foremost our crew chief in training turned 5 last Thursday and I’m still trying to process how that is even possible! This little man right here is the best thing to ever happen to this family and he doesn’t even know it!

Happy Birthday buddy Dad loves you and thank you for always rooting for me (even tho you like to imitate my flip with hot wheels cars and used to tell people daddy always gets the blue and yellow flag) 😂

And now for a racing update! We WILL be back next Saturday July 25 at Fonda Speedway hoping we can pick up right where we left off. Our time off has taken us longer than we wanted but i decided to take the time to make sure everything was done correctly and not rushed. Also took some family time but now it’s time to get back to it!

Excited to be back and to see everyone and hoping we can continue where we left off with becoming a heat race hero 😂

Unfortunately we will not be racing tomorrow. We are going to take the extra time to make sure the car is 100% ready to go.

We will still be at Fonda Speedway tomorrow night for meet and greet night. Come down to see us and say hi!
