Following a 18-4 regular season, the 50+ Cardinals began the playoffs today with a 24-0 drubbing of the A’s in 5 plus innings. Darwin Hernandez hit his 4th HR of the season and Keith Ciffo hit for the cycle leading the relentless Cardinals offense. Jim Belcastro threw 5 scoreless innings and Scott Mason finished up preserving the shut out.
