What a season!

While the final result wasn’t what we were hoping for, there is so much to be thankful for.

TO OUR COACHING STAFF & FAMILIES… thank you for your commitment, sacrifice, and support. High school baseball requires countless hours away from home, and this season would not have been possible without each of you. Your impact on our players and program is immeasurable.

TO OUR SCHOOL ADMIN… thank you for always supporting our players and providing opportunities for them to have a first-class experience.

TO OUR COMMUNITY… thank you for making Ray Heatwole Field one of the best places in Virginia to play baseball. More importantly, thank you for showing up. Your support all season long was incredible. You truly became our 10th MAN and played a huge role in making this season so special.

TO OUR PLAYERS… thank you. I wouldn’t have wanted this season to be with any other group. You represented TA Baseball the right way and embodied what it means to be Purposeful, Consistent, and Passionate with a Selfless Heart.

As the season comes to a close, I hope each of you takes time to appreciate what this team accomplished. Championships, playoff runs, and memories that will last a lifetime. Then, when the time is right, get back to work. There is always room to improve.

TO OUR SENIORS… Everett Johnson, Caden Simmers, Garrett Jennings, Sammy Moats, and Colin Trost: thank you for everything you have given to this program. Your leadership and commitment helped shape this team. Thank you for leaving the jersey in a better place than you found it.

To everyone who played a part in this journey, thank you. This season was special because of you.

The Turner Ashby baseball team falls to New Kent in the VHSL Class 3 Championship game 8-3. A fantastic season for the Knights who made their first state championship game appearance since 2017.
