IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The swim area at the Town Beach (Phillips Beach) @ Tonetta Lake will remain closed through the weekend due to water quality issues. The beach is open to all free of charge though, so come enjoy some relaxation in the sun or a discounted kayak rental as a way to explore the lake from a different perspective! We just are unable to permit anyone to swim in the water at this time. We thank you in advance for understanding.

Please note that this is a localized issue related to our swim area and is not necessarily indicative of issues elsewhere on the lake. That said, all people entering public bodies of water should always exercise proper discretion before doing so.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The swim area at the Town Beach (Phillips Beach) @ Tonetta Lake is closed today due to water quality issues. The beach is open to all free of charge though so come check out the "Face of the 54th" lawn sign exhibit, have a $1.00 hot dog, listen to some good music, take a kayak out and enjoy the lake and this beautiful day anyway. We just are unable to permit anyone to swim in the water at this time. We thank you in advance for understanding.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The swim area at the Town Beach (Phillips Beach) @ Tonetta Lake is closed today due to water quality issues. The beach is open to all free of charge though and we'll be doing discounted kayak rentals until around 5:00p for those who would like to come out and enjoy the lake and this beautiful day anyway. We still have some spots left in our Learn-2-Swim program for this summer!! The residency requirement has been lifted, so all remaining spots are now open not only to BCSD residents but beyond as well!! Our Girls' Empowerment Club hosted an inter-generational Bingo Night on the 29th with friends, parents and seniors from Southeast and beyond. It was such a wonderful evening and just wanted to send out a big thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed it with us!!
