The day was perfect! Weather was absolutely awesome, competition was strong and I'm pretty sure everyone had a blast! For those who are under 30 and competed, I'm sure are feeling it today. I certainly am! 46 players and probably almost as many spectators!

🗓️ I hope you marked your calendars for some fun in the sun!!

☀️ Summer is here!!! And we will be hosting the V-ball World Championship of the World on July 26th, 2025 at Club Med Beech Hill.

🏖️ This event was one of Dad's favorite days of the summer, and we are so grateful to be able to carry on this tradition!

🏆 As before, this years event will be a double elimination format with generally 5 or 6
players to a team. We try to make the teams of roughly equal ability. It helps if you can be on site close to 11:00 AM so you can limber up and we can begin building teams. If you will be much later, call ahead so we can get you on a team. Play should begin shortly after noon.

🏐 The V-ball World Championship of the World is a rain or shine event. Please bring
friends, food and drinks as after the trophy ceremony we will have a potluck dinner as usual. In Von's words... "Remember, for anyone wearing a prior years championship t-shirt we will waive the customary entrance fee of two times half of a fifth of nothing. As always
parking is free.

🩵 This event takes a lot of help to make this event run smoothly. Kudos go out to the many unsung heroes that get us all fed at the end of a long day of fun, help with court set up, and clean up. Without such great friends and family we couldn't make this work.

💛 We are looking forward to honoring Dad the best way we know how. He lived life to the fullest and we intend to continue that while we can!
